I wasn't sure whether to post this in here or the Tech forum, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place.
I got myself an xbox 360 last week and I noticed the controller needs AA batteries to run, which costs a bit of money. So I was wondering if they would run on rechargable AA's? This may seem like a stupid question, but I've noticed on some battery-ran appliances you can't use rechargables or it can stuff the thing up.

The first time I bought my 360 I thought it'd make sense to just use rechargeables, but for whatever reason they wouldn't work. I checked the site and it said you had to use regular batteries, and that rechargeable batteries will not work. And for some reason they were fucking hard to get out, so don't even try it.

Invest in a battery pack thing, I sure as hell am.

Yeah, you can't use regular rechargeable batteries, but you can get this (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360playchargekit/default.htm) to save a bit of money on batteries. Plus you can recharge while playing.

My mate has one of those battery pack things. Looks like I'll be investing in one of those then, thanks for the advice.
