Problem fixed. I don't even know how, I just thought I'd try it again the other day and it worked. It looks fucking amazing on my PC.

So, I got a new computer today, right? Super sweet, dual BFG 8800GEForce gfx cards with all that SLI technology jazz, 4 GB of RAM, etc etc. So I pop in Bioshock, right? Beginning cut scene starts, awesome graphics/sound, etc etc. Then as soon as the scene in the water starts, my sound cuts out. I exit Bioshock, and it works fine for everything else. I made a new file, restarted, etc etc. I thought whatever, it'll resolve itself. So I get in the sub, and then I get up to the surface, and the splicer that's supposed to kill that one guy is just frozen there. Both of them. There's still things going on in the backround, and I'm still able to look around, but the game won't fucking continue. Oh, and the sound still won't work.

The problem for the sound could be fixed with turning the hardware acceleration down.

To do this follow these steps,

Start > Run > Type in DXDIAG > Hit the sound tab and slide the slider down to basic acceleration.

I have no idea what the freezing problem is man, can't really help you out there.

I'm using Vista. I don't know where Run is on this goddamn OS.

Also, should I uninstall Bioshock then reinstall it? Or will that just fuck me over by saying "You've already used this disc on another computer", or something like that.

Hit ctrl+alt+delete, bring up the task manager, and click file > run.

Make sure you uninstall with their uninstaller, if not SecuRom fucks up, if I recall correctly.

Spastic, where would I find the Bioshock installer? Or should I just go to Control Panel and uninstall it.

The control panel uninstaller will work fine, as it uses the Bioshock uninstaller to do it, what I meant was don't just delete the folder in program files or anything.

So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. It did the exact same fucking thing, at the exact same place. I think I'm going to call 2k games tomorrow.
