I can't scroll through anything, the light is stuck on,it's not playing music, and I'm stuck at the same screen(frozen, basically).
Anyone know what I can do? It froze the second I plugged it in to charge it. I've pretty much decided to wait until the battery dies, but if there's something quicker, I'd like to know.

I had the exact same problem the other day. Basically, you just have to let it die, then recharge it from a wall plug (more power).
You can reset it by holding down the menu button and the middle button at the same time for about 10-15 seconds.

I'm sure it wasn't because you plugged it in; it was probably just weird timing. I'm just guessing. Mine freezes once a week or less, and I just hold Menu and Center for like 5 seconds, and then turn it on. Like Couch said.

If it turns out bricked, get a Zune, seriously. I've dropped that baby down the stairs and when I picked it back up it was still playing. Zune's to my experience are like 20x more durable then IPods, seeing as I've gone through like 3 Ipods but I've had my Zune for two years.

Maybe you should stop dropping the shit, dude.
If you still are worried, what you can do is connect it to your computer and use iTunes to reset your iPod to it's factory settings, effectively wiping it to "brand new" so to speak. You can then just re-sync your iPod and be on you way.

Kind of extreme solutions. My iPod freezes in the same exact manner that Riddlebox described and a harmless reset fixes the problem every time.

You can also do that by toggling on/off and the holding select and menu down.
iPods aren't that bad, I had my 80 gig for four years before it died and I am rough with all my belongings.
