View Full Version : iPod Converters
So, MP4 is a bitch mother fuckin' file type. Usually the only way to convert .AVI's and such to .MP4 requires expensive software or some shit, so anybody know of any free ipod converters? Or ones that could possibly be found on a torrenting site, would one want to steal if they felt the need to (definitely not me).
Also, Videora is gay and doesn't really work on my comp, so stfu. I have the newest iPod Classic, by the way.
I was about to say Handbrake, but that doesn't recognise AVI's. The only one I know of is iSquint, but that's only available for Mac OS X.

This program works fairly well, I used to use it a lot. Not the best, but got the job done most of the time. Nowadays I use a program called Tunebite. It's a great program, pretty powerful. It ain't freeware though, but I managed to er..."find" a license for it just laying around on the internet. :clint:

Xvid4PSP. It has tons of options and is very efficient at converting. Though it says PSP it also can do ipod, mobile, etc. The best part is in supports nearly every video format.

I've been through a few different programs over the years, but I find that Magic Video Convertor works the best for me. Have to pay for it though. Well you don't HAVE to, but its not freeware.

This (http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/) site has a lot of free format converters that can be downloaded. I find their youtube to ipod one very handy, as well.
