Warhawk

Wahawk is FPS / Flight warfare game. It's available on the PS3 for about $40.
Does anyone know if it's worth getting? I've heard a lot of good reviews, in spite of a few technical issues. I'm cautious to buy it though, as i've bought a lot of games i've regretted this summer (Super Stardust HD, Bioshock etc).
What do you guys think?

As for Warhawk, 32 player games with essentially lag free gameplay (based off of gamespot) seems pretty good to me.

Don't get me wrong, it was good while it lasted. But there's absolutely no replay factor in it for me + no multiplayer. Plus the whole concept wasn't very original. It felt like Half Life 2 mixed with The Elder Scrolls.

Warkhawk is said to have countless hours of fun, but honestly I'd say wait for QW:TW for the PC or BF2.

Yeah it's kind of like battlefield, but not shit.

It looks sweet, my mate was involved in the beta.
I'm buying it 'cause I bought The Darkness yesterday and the multiplayer was shit (despite the singleplayer being quite good).

Oh and it's not an fps, it's a 3rdps =P.

Right now? Not much :P I'll be honest.
But Ratchet and Clank:Future Tools of Destruction is out in October, that'll be awesome. Also, Steam Orange Box(All the half life 2s, portal and team fortress 2) is out October.
MGS4 and GTA4 in January.

All the good games at the moment are ports. But it'll come into it's own in about a year.

Yeah, but I thought that GTA4 and FF13 are both going to be on the Xbox 360 as well. I'm talking about PS3 exclusives worth owning, besides the one MGS4.

I'm not too sure about FFXIII. Don't get me wrong, I'm like the biggest FF fanboy alive. But the new combat system looks really cruddy, they're draining the series of what made it what it was. FF versus XIII looks cooler, but I guess that's 'cos the guy is a blatant Cloud rip off and you don't see any in game combat >.<

Haha, I was just giving you a hard time about Bioshock. I'm saving up for an Xbox 360 near Christmas time since I just started my new job. As for games exclusively for the PS3, MGS4, Warhawk, Haze, and Ratchet and Clank look pretty good.

I'll still take an elite 360 with halo 3 though.
