As far as Guitar Hero II is concerned, the best song for me to play is Thunderhorse. Me and the guys ad my band used to have competitions before band practice on who could get the highest score/miss the least notes. I've gotten 5 stars on Medium, Hard, and 4 on Very Hard mostly because I don't actually own the game myself.

I used to be able to play the game really well. I was at the point where I could play songs on hard and maybe get a four star rating and whatnot. Five star if I was lucky. I was also able to complete a couple songs on expert.

Well, one day my friend was over here playing it(he's better than me at it), and I dozed off on my bed and i slept for about 2 hours or so. I woke up he was still playing, but about to leave. Anyway, when I tried to play "Jessica" -- my favorite song to play and one of the best I could perform on -- I couldn't do it. My fingers wouldn't move as fast, and I kept getting confused. I fucking failed it, for the first time in a long time. I thought to myself, "wtf?". I even played an easier song, and completed it, but not to the caliber I used to be able to.

This was two months ago or more, and I still am not able to play the game like I used to be able too. I don't know what the hell happened, and its really depressing.

Well I got the game (Guitar Hero 2) a month ago. I can beat every song on hard with 4 stars, except damn Psychobilly Freakout. I'm playing on Expert, doing good, but I suck at Freya. I love playing The Light That Blinds on Expert even though I only get 160k. Or whatever gets you 4 stars, which I have.

I've seen people saying they've gotten worse for no reason... I went on vacation for a week and almost died without my daily dose of ROCK! But anyway I came back, and some how I was suddenly awesome at songs that I completely sucked at. Except Freya and Psychobilly. I don't know why, certain games I just get better if I don't play it at all for a time. Guitar Hero is officially one of them, but I love the game too much to stop willingly. Can't wait for GH3!

It haunts me. I have no idea what the deal is. Here's a perfect example. I used to could 5 Star "Woman" on Hard nearly 100% of the time. But for some reason, one morning, I picked up my controller, and I just couldn't play the beginning. Which a lot of the song is equal to the beginning, So I actually failed. I failed!! I hardly ever fail! Unless playing on Expert.

That happens to me on the intro of YYZ. When playing on Easy or Medium, it has a note missing.

Every now and then i have to play Unsung on the first game, just to make self feel better. A monkey could get a high score on that game, but i'm not that great, so i have to keep my Guitar Hero Esteem high.

A few days ago I was playing 'Electric Eye' on Rock the 80's and I just got so fucking frustrated that I threw the guitar at my wall which, in turn, pulled my playstation of the surface onto the floor. Happens to the best of us. You'll get it eventually! Just keep trying at slower speeds all the way through, then once you can do it comfortably move up a speed till you get to Full. Time consuming. But it helps.

Don't forget to take at least 30 Minutes breaks if you get tired.

There's a Guitar Hero 'fan-site' that I sometimes frequent and to date, NO-ONE has got 100% on every single song on hard (and one of the people there has 99% on Jordan, expert), although one is close. And the people who are close spend a helluva lot of time on GH.

I can 4-star most songs on expert, and granted, I can 5-star the majority of hard songs every time. But at the same time, a 5-star rating and a 100% are WAY different, 100% is like a 6-star. I don't think i've ever 100%'d a song on hard or expert, although i frequently get 99%.

By the way, just managed to beat Carry Me Home AND Hangar 18 on Expert within about 15 minutes of each other. I basically sight-read Carry Me Home, cuz I've never got past the intro before that. Thats one of the songs that I think most of it is easier on Expert.

I mean, sure, every now and again, I'll miss like 1 or 2 notes on the harder songs on hard mode (nobody is perfect), but I would say about 99% of the time, I get a 100%. I don't go on scorehero or youtube though. I tried to post a video once but I got all camera shy and fucked up big time, so I don't do any of that.

I can play Sweet Child of Mine pretty good. I almost got 100% on hard. Only got 99 though.

I am trying to get the BEAT Jordan on Expert achievement. But I can't even beat it...Everytime I get out of the HOPO in the solos, I can NOT get back in. I strum, but the note won't play and I can't get back into the HOPO. So I end up failing...

I know i can beat most Expert songs, it's just a matter of getting more than 3 stars.

My only decent acomplishment is i can complete Misrlou on expert, I'm not bad at the game just not amazing, I've completed and 5/4 starred most of hard on both games, and completed up to rock this town on expert on GH2, that song just kills me, and just got cowboys from hell and bark at the moon left on GH1. I've completed Bark at the Moon 99% no lie I missed the last note and failed, cowboys I did 89%. I can also do about 50% of Jordan, not that good but someday I might be able to do it, actually nevermind.

Don't even attempt Jordan until you can get to Solo B with your rock metre in the green, and even then only use SP when you get blinking rock metre. Otherwise, you'll most likely never pass.

Also, where do you fail on 'The Light that Blinds'?

Don't even attempt Jordan until you can get to Solo B with your rock metre in the green, and even then only use SP when you get blinking rock metre. Otherwise, you'll most likely never pass.

Giving this a bump because I can now almost FC Beast and the Harlot on hard. I only missed 1 note last time (in a random spot).

Also, I'm up to 59% on Jordan. If I could get 100% on solo A, I would be able to pass this easily enough.
