Art on the Internet

Urser mentioned that a thread where people could post art they've found on the internet would be good, instead of only posting their own artwork or having individual threads for separate websites. I went ahead and made the thread because nothing had happened in a few days.

So post links to art or artists you've found online, be it photoshop, flash, or even websites you think were designed artistically or creatively. Write a short blurb about what you like about it or whatever else you want to mention.

This thread is not for showing your own artwork. I'm sure there's somewhere in Showcase where you can do that.

I'm going to start with My Schizophrenic Brain (http://brain.marconi.nu/), a collection of bright and colourful artwork made by Guilherme Marconi. I really like the colours he uses, and his use of dark outlines.

Matt Richardson (http://agiantsalamander.deviantart.com/gallery/) is a digital artist I found on deviantART. He does a lot of fantasy and surreal character art and portraits, along with the occasional landscape here and there. He does have his flaws as well, admitting that he draws his characters with extremely gaunt faces out of habit and tries hard to avoid that. But I think that just makes him a better artist, really. I personally like the dark, muggy appearance that all his works seem to have.
