Guys, I need help finding the name of a song. I saw the music video of it on YouTube, but it's no longer in my browsing history (I must've cleared it some time after watching). Here's what I know:
- The music is really cool and ambient, but with a solid, modest beat. You'd hear it in an action/spy-type movie.
- The artist's name is just his name, not some obscure phrase or other word.
- The song's title is something to do with "beating" or "breaking". Maybe.
- From what I can remember, there are little to no lyrics in the song. It's mostly, if not all, just instruments/synth.
Music Video Description
The setting is a town where everyone and everything is moving backwards, as if time is reversed. But one young well-built guy, presumably the artist, notices that he alone is able to move forwards. He begins to run. At first he struggles to even move against some unseen force, like a strong wind, but eventually he gets his footing and starts moving faster and faster as the song progresses. Eventually he leaves the town and sprints down a lone highway in the desert, becoming so fast that he is a blur. His speed causes him to start burning as he streaks down the highway. At the apex of his run, he jumps, the roadway behind him seeming to explode - then the camera pans and we see that he's jumping towards a brick wall in the middle of the road. He breaks through the wall, and then the setting zips back to the town at the start. Everyone else is still walking backwards, except the guy - then he notices a little black girl who is also able to move forwards like him. I think she smiles at him or something and then the video ends. It's all very metaphorical and lined with a hidden message about overcoming racism or something.
