You should try Reason instead of FL Studio. I used FL Studio for years and I found Reason. They're both great programs except for the fact that Reason is FL Studio on steroids.
Also, this is hilarious crap by the way.

Reason has a shitty sequencer, a shitty workflow and no VST support.

But yeah Reason is good for making noise really quick on the go and the whole "no-talent-required" on the mastering side of things is fun.

Not to seem like biased twat, but Reason's sequencer is laid out much more nicely than FL Studio's (granted that FL Studio is much more user friendly). The sampling for Reason is incredible too and the company has more sampling packages that you can get that are just amazing. Seriously, I've been using FL Studio since version 3, I know what it's like, and I can turn out better music twice as fast with Reason than I ever could with FL. Then again, my opinion, but I honestly can't tell you how many hours I've spent using FL Studio and I just can't go back now.

Reason is made for untalented twats to turn out better music twice as fast as FL. The only upside I see with Reason is the complete compatability with every other douchenozzle that uses it.

YAY more Reason refills! Now my music can sound even more like everyone elses!. Oh boy I can't wait to put down some polyrhythms in my new Reason song! Oh wait, polyrhythmic patterns are a pain in the ass in Reason. Hmm, maybe I can place an audio clip alongside the sequencer and see what the waveform is doing in relation to the rest of the song... Oh wait Reason doesn't do that. Oh jeez the FL sampler sure is crappy... Maybe I should use the NNXT in Reason? Nah, I'll just open a VST sampler that does the same fucking thing.

Also, you are completely a biased twat for talking to me like I haven't been using FL for very long and saying "REASON IS FL ON STEROIDS USE THAT INSTED LOL" when really the core of FL is far more versatile and powerful than anything Reason will ever be.

Not so much starting slow, but starting less busy and then gradually making things more chaotic. Sometimes being abrupt is better though.

I haven't used Logic in years and I never really got used to it. It's probably a contender. Ableton Live is very good too, if it works on macs.

Every other thread I've started in this board is my stuff that isn't like this.
