XBox LIVE Question

OK, so this may sound like a stupid question to people with 360's, but I'm getting one this weekend, and I want to get Alien Hominid HD and Castle Crashers, but I was wondering, I know there's a fee to play online, would I have to start paying that fee just to download and play the games? Because most of my freinds have Wii's, so we mainly play that online, because it's free and everything, so I wouldn't really want to pay a fee to play online when I'd probably not even be playing online, so I'm wondering if these two games are even worth it.

You don't need to pay a fee to download XBLA games(except for the price to buy them).
But you do need one to play XBLA games online.
Alien Hominid is a really good game and Castle Crashers looks even better but if you are getting a 360 just for those games, than that doesn't exactly sound like a good idea.

And I'm not just buying it for those two, there're tons of otheres, but I know I'm gonna want them, so I was just asking about them.

If you buy them you should stick with buying prepaid cards because many people are having issues with credit cards on there xbox live accounts. I myself have faced this trouble.
