Are there any good text based RPG's?

I'm not sure if this goes here but I'll accept the consequences if it doesn't.

ANYHOOS are there any good FREE text based RPG's out there. I'm a pit picky about them though because a lot of them have a preset number of action per day, and I was hoping if anyone knew of any that don't have that.

Kingdom Of Loathing is pretty good example since you can play it for more than 10 minutes at a time.
