I've always used flash for drawing, but never really for flash animation.
This is my first flash:

Just a simple animation that I can build off.
Comment on this, if you see anything I need to improve on and post your own animations. I will be making more overtime and I am going to post them into this thread.
EDIT: Ok, I put up a link, but how do I upload it onto this thread?

I don't think it's possible to upload a flash video onto a thread.
And the walking is really natural, so good job on that.

It is possible, I've seen it plenty of times, I had a look in the Help forum and I saw a thread with my question, but I still don't understand...
Make it into a gif then you can post it here.

Yes, I uploaded it as a Gif, but I can only link it here. What do I do to put it on this thread?

Or a .swf, at a guess. I could be completely wrong, mind you. I don't use flash.
I think that walking is really smooth and nice. A very good start, dude. =)
edit:/ If it's an animated .gif, shouldn't the image tags work? I'll stop talking now, i'm clueless, in all honesty.
Good work again though.

Well on the link it says its flv not gif. Are you sure you didnt save it as a gif?

I saved one as a gif before, but I could only link it and it was really bad quality. I just want to know how I can put it straight onto this thread. I have no knowledge of what to do at ALL, so a step by step process is what I need.
Argh, I'm uploading them as .gif's but they always end up being .flv :wail:
Imageshack.us
it takes swfs.

NVM's right, use Imageshack. They take .swf's and you can just post the link.

FYI: If you are trying to make a .gif (or .avi for that matter) it will not render any animations behind a movie clip, it must all be on the main timeline. (I believe this is still current with the newer versions, I just can't stand the new layout after flash 5, call me old fashion... :P)

Let me hug you, Jamezguy. Flash 5 for the fucking win.
UberMegatron, this forum doesn't allow you to embed SWFs in posts, if thats what you mean by "straight on this thread". Do what all the cool kids do and upload to imageshack and post a link.
We don't want swfs in posts because its super easy to do malicious/annoying shit with swf files.

Yeah we don't do flash in the forum because it can send out popups and sounds and all crazy shit.
Don't bother exporting it as a gif becase it changes the framerate to an annoyingly slow 12 fps and pixelates the shit out of everything.
+The link goes to an empty page now.

Is it me or is it only a second long :indiff:

It's only one second, but it looks good in that one second.

Needs up and down body movement.
It's only one second, but it look good in that one second.
Double entendre :fmita:

You should've done it as a .swf, cos then it loops ffs!
it look great though. I tried animating CnH before and walking is especially hard to do, because they only face forwards. You got a good angle though. I think you nailed it.
