i saw this guy at the bus stop when i was on my way home from work. he was wearing filthy, torn khakis and a badly soiled dress shirt. i thought he was funny because he had apparently decided that his habiliment wouldn't be complete without a tie.

he got on the same bus i did, so i decided to take a picture of him with my phone. i apologize for the quality; there was a hellified smudge on the lens. anyway, i seem to have captured the exact moment that he realized he had pissed himself.

that poor lady sitting next to him

she moved her seat as soon as another became available. she got off at my stop, and told me that she had been trying to inch away from him but each time she did he moved closer.

they were different pants. they seemed relatively new with no holes or stains.

i'll keep tabs on him and keep you posted of any interesting wardrobe developments.

until you've seen a man in a dress have a seizure on a flooded train, sydney's public transport is still more impressive.

Khloe Kardashian had once taken a homeless man off the streets, gave him a shower, had him clean shaven, gave him one of Bruce Jenner's shirts (i know!11), and feed him dinner. :)

i adopted a stray cat, shaved it, dipped it in tar and rolled it in rice krispies. then i let it loose in the local dollar store.

we're all doin' what we can, i guess.

the cat was pretty upset, but deep down i think she saw the humor in it

I'm not going to be as charitable and understanding as some have.

BadAnkle, you refer to this man as a "bum" and refer to bodily fluids and the man's odor. Nowhere in your post do you refer to the man's "inner dignity" or any other allusion to his inherent dignity as a human being. What if that were a friend or a relative who had fallen on hard times? How would you feel had he been the subject of an internet posting with comments like yours.

Do you for a moment think that he likes his condition? Do you for a moment think that his attire is an invitation to you to post this most ridiculous thread?

I think the OP is incredibly insensitive and it is wholly inappropriate to post someone's picture on the internet without his permission. If this gentleman is truly homeless than he deserves our empathy and our prayers rather than ridicule.
