I realized something terrible just now. This forum has a thread about Coldplay but there is absolutely nothing for one of the greatests bands ever, The Who. Everyone knows at least on song by The Who. And if you have any taste in music at all then you know they're right up there with the best.

When I was younger I used to sit and listen to my dads old vinyl records of The Who. I gotta say my favorite was probably Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy, simply because it had all of their earliest hits on it. Boris the Spider anyone?

Anyways, discuss one of Britain's finest rock band, The Who.

I like The Who, but their songs kinda seem like karaoke classics now so I feel a wee bit cheesy listening to them. However "Pinball Wizard" and "Boris The Spider" are amazing songs :lol:

Yeah, unfortunately, I know very few people who actually like the Who. Some of their more popular songs are kind of cheesy, but songs like Eminence Front, Love Reign O'er Me and their cover of Young Man Blues off the Live at Leeds album are amazing.

God bless CSI for bringing the Who to my attention. Everytime I hear Won't Get Fooled Again I just wanna slip my shades on and walk around like I'm Horatio. Baba O Riley's a close second, everything else is fine.

I didn't know they did this, but I sure as hell won't be buying it. Rock Band and Guitar hero can be fun games. But they both ruin alot of songs for me. I used to love Sweet Child Of Mine and Carry On My Wayword Son until I played them on guitar hero. The games just suck all the enjoyment out of listening to the songs. Playing the best of The Who on Rock Band might just make me hate them, or at least make me not care for their music anymore.
