June, July and mid-August, the 90's were a rare sight. Mid to late 80's was the usual. I figured we'd been hit by a lousy summer. The A/C in my car needed a fix as well, and I was just barely about to pass it off since I thought it'd be useless. $300 well spent.

Two weeks later: It starts raining fire from the heavens as if the end was at hand. Case in point:

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e60/NitRoDrivEn9121/scorcher-1.jpg

It's 113 F or 45 C outside. Ouch! We've been getting gang-raped all weekend. They're expecting it throughout next week as well. I was expecting a nice, hot summer in the 90's and low 100's on beach days for nice, drop top sunbathing weather, but I got cook eggs and bacon on your hood and deep-fried sirloin on your dashboard weather instead.

Hang tight you pussies!

But it's a dry heat, isn't it?

I live in Florida, where it only gets up to 105 at the worst, but it's incredibly humid here. It's miserable even in the 80s.

But then, would anyone want the U.K's weather?

Stop complaining.

Not as dry as Valencia and Palm Springs. They were around 115-120 degrees of dry heat a few days ago. Friday night was a VERY sticky 93 degrees around 10 PM here.

In California no matter where you live, there's about 10% humidity at the most.

Stop bitching, and come to the south and see how fast your ball sack sticks to your legs.

PS why are we discussing the weather in the GF again?

I know what high temperatures combined with humidity feels like, but do you have any idea what dry, 115 degree heat feels like?

I prefer dry heat over humid heat any day!
It's not hot out, I don't know what you're talking about...they other day I had my heater in the car turned on to 90 degrees and it felt good! It's already starting to get cold here at nights but the days are still alright.

It was 50+ in Kuwait for the last month. It's humid too so the car AC smells like shit, on top of that the retards in the class next to mine broke the thermostat and the school is too fucking cheap to get it repaired. In short, I am in hell.

You are a douche bag.

Anyway, this summer has been odd for weather. In March we had 35C+ weather for two weeks and then all through July and August it topped out around 22C. I was really disappointed because I was hoping to get some camping in but the rain! Oh god, the rain!

In Indiana, it's either:

Way too hot (95 + 100% humidity yesterday)

or

Way too cold (-5 + 15 mph wind in February)

We get about one or two days in the fall or spring when I don't want to shoot the weather.

In Brazil the weather's always "approximately awesome".
I enjoy going to temperate climates for skiing and laughing at people who live there, though.

I love Ohio, It gets pretty hot in the summer, and then when i get sick of it , it cools off and snows so i can go snowboarding, then when i get sick of snow it starts to warm up again. I live in the Snowbelt of Ohio so we get a ton of snow.

Nope. That's miles. It's an '01. Bit higher than usual. I drove 35k miles in 14 months alone, but I baby it and maintain it.

I work in the Australian desert (almost dead centre in the country to be more accurate). A 45 degree day is normal. It has been known to get to nearly 55 degrees C here in the all too recent past.

In the middle of our summer sleeping is almost impossible without the extreme use of air cons.

I just got back from Florida. I was staying down in the Keys with my step-grandparents, and I thought it was miserably fucking hot down there. I couldn't wait to get back home and not have to deal with as much humidity.

But I get back home to Alabama/Mississippi (technically live in MS now, but spend 85% of my time in AL), and the humidity is just as bad. But what's worse is that we haven't even been having light breezes. It's just stagnant humid air in 100+ degree weather. So I'm kinda missing Florida right now.

It's been pretty nice out, went out for Father's Day and it was nice then too. Which is surprising because it's usually hot as hell and it sucks.
