Lighthouse discussion is a forum dedicated to the elitist nature of explosm. Those of us not cool enough to be elite but cooler than everyone else hang out there writing quasi-humourous nonsense and turning on anyone new and/or unwelcome WITH THE BURNING RAGE OF A THOUSAND SUNS.

The Lighthouse forum was originally the Relationship and Dating forum, but it was changed by the Admin to confuse new posters such as yourself. To put it blandly, the Lighthouse discussion is this forum's LiveJournal. I recommend using it as such, otherwise you may be laughed at.

Africa is populated mostly by black people but has a history based around imperialism by predominantly white Europe. so the text, i.e. the actions on the forum equate to the contemporary society, where as the background, i.e. the website, represent the basis and founding of those actions.
