Not to mention the fact your sentence can be commuted for good behavior, you will get less rights in jail and besides, who wants to be a fugitive anyway?

Prisons over here, at least, seem pretty damn cushy. A bed, three meals, recreation time, access to a computer. When it's a 2 star holiday resort, why would you go into the real world where people try to shiv you?

Criminals in my state have discovered this and our prisons are incredibly overcrowded. Minimum sentence of six months. Otherwise, they send you to pick up some rubbish or something.
