INSTRUCTIONS
To get rid of these ads we need two things:
1. Please post the IMAGE if it's an image file, or a SCREENSHOT of the image if it's a flash ad.
2. Post the URL it goes to. Right click, copy link if it's an image ad, click it and copy/paste where it takes you if it's a Flash ad.

If you don't have Firefox, i highly recommend you download it. It has tons of free add-ons that make your browsing experience more enjoyable. And if your an HTML programmer, you NEED to get the firebug add-on.

The site gets paid for each view of the ads. If you're using adblock, the site doesn't earn money from you visiting the site.

We do have geotargetted ads, but I'd think a buzzing xbox ad is one of those filler ads that gets shown to everybody. Maybe it is, though.

Sometimes when I'm on Explosm, 60 new browsers suddenly pop up all at once for seemingly no reason. I don't know where they go to because they don't load before I kill 'em all. I once tried to spare just one of them to see where it goes, but that only popup-bombs more browsers. I'd blame this on a virus but it only happens when I'm on Explosm.
Anyone ever get something like this? : /

Today I clicked on Thread Dump and I started hearing the sounds of chickens and then a guy's voice saying "camera two." The ad on the right (tower ad) said something about turkeys but I closed the browser and it stopped. I am not sure if it was the ad. But knowing that people are getting virus-like symptoms from visiting explosm is freaking me out juuuust a bit. I have tried to get that ad to come back, to see that's what made the sound, but it has REFUSED to come back. If/when it does, I'll be sure to get a screen shot. I just remember the color scheme being orange and brown, and it saying something about turkey or Thanksgiving.

not sure if it helps but 3 times tonight whilst on pretty much any part of the forum I've had an avast network shield warning saying site access blocked due to malicious content, I don't think its ad related as all the ads are there and its happened twice on the UGG boots ad and once on one with some sort of certificate layout, Avast web shield is in charge of slightly dodgy ads, seeing as its network shield im thinking its some sort of pop-up amongst the likes of Windoctor or Win-antispyware etc. couldnt tell you for sure though
tbh it happened once again when I went to write this, (not the comp btw its on loading forum pages)

I didn't manage to get a picture, seeing as how this just happened, but I was viewing the comics and it told me something malicious was going on. So I was like "Hmm" but before I could do anything it redirects me to some IP address. I closed the window and didn't have time to snap a shot.

Posting secret messages in white or posting something in Spame red has an effect.
I agree that we could take the color button out. Let the code still work, but don't encourage it like we're doing now.

How about this: Since you can only see the spoiler and youtube tags when you 'Go Advanced' while editing/replying, why don't you put those on the Quick Reply bar, and move the colors to the Advanced reply/edit window.

Not quite sure if this is the right place for it but this window came up, there was actually about 7 on my screen at the same time, it happened once before and I hit run by mistake so it started trying to install a load of adware. Not sure if it's to do with the site but I was on here when it happened before as well. Hitting cancel just seemed to create more of them, same with the red X.

That looks malicious to me. The realy domain for Analytics is google-analytics.com, not adservices. And the real analytics doesn't install anything, either. I'll look into it.

They are extremely annoying and make me want to squish puppies.

I noticed that they're only using that girl now, I guess the other models got better jobs.
i think they use her because she's got tiny breasts so the pictures/text of the shirt sits flat, and looks better that way

Got a series of those, actually. The first said something about "You may be infected, click here to scan", I closed out and then that one popped up, saying I was still infected. Before any more popped up, I hit the stop button on firefox and didn't let it continue to transfer data from wherever.

I came in to see if anyone was complaining about this. It's rather frustrating and emasculating. It's femasculating.
I was redirected to http://www.fling.com/4/?prg=1&pg=1&id=mobileguy3 when trying to go to the forums.
And a couple of days ago I also got redirected to BlackPeopleMeet.com website weirdly..

Dunno if this one (http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/8958/explosmad.jpg) counts as being malicious, but it always expands and covers the most recent comic button on the front page when I accidentally roll my mouse over it.
It expands to be a little game thing, but eventually it links to here (http://www.fire-emblem.com/shadowdragon/).

I couldn't take a screenshot because I'm at work, but the Musicians thread that was necro'd in TV/Movies today, after I closed it kept giving me a username/password pop up with
