Recently I got a wii (actually like a couple moths ago almost) and I haven't really touched it, but lately I've been downloading a few games. They have a thing where you can download old games from a variety of systems, including most of the old nintendo systems, sega, and some other one. Well so far I have:
Shining Force
The Legend Of Zelda
Paper Mario
Mario Bros. 2
My question is if you have one, what games have you downloaded (if you have), and what games would you like to see become downloadable off of the Wii?

I downloaded Mario 64. I have thirty stars and I've had it for about two weeks.

I haven't turned on the Wii in a while, but I would love to see GoldenEye downloadable. It was an amazing game and set the bar for first person shooters since then. If it can be downloaded now then I really need to buy it.

They're having issues with licensing since microsoft own rare (the company that made it) now.
I've got Mario 64. Tis awesome.

I want Conker's bad fur day. That was one of the greatest N64 games ever. I still remember a boss song...
"I am the great mighty poo, and I'm gonna throw my shit at you! A big supply of tish, from my chocolate star fish. How about some scat you little twat?"

I've downloaded Kid Icarus, Super Metroid, Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, and some others that aren't quite coming to mind right now....
Aside from Goldeneye, there's one other game that I'd really like to see downloadable: Joe and Mac II. You've probably never heard of it, but it came out for the SNES, and my sister and I spent hours playing that game.

I got Super Mario Bros 1 & 2, Super Mario World, Sonic 1, Shining Force, Mario Kart 64, Streets of Rage 2, Star Fox 64, and Donkey Kong Country. No complaints there.
I would sure as hell love to see sleeper hits like Phantasy Star, Blast Corps., and Zombie Ate My Neighbors.
Goldeneye would've been top of my list, but I doubt Nintendo will release it on the VC because of licensing issues.

Sadly all the great games were created by Rare, and are now owned by Microsoft. I would love to see Conker's Bad Fur Day, but not only is it owned by Microsoft, but its not Wii friendly. Nintendo has tried to keep the Wii family friendly since the beginning. That was one reason why they stopped Manhunt 2 from being distributed. Though Conker's Bad Fur Day might have been ok in the past, I don't think Nintendo would let that game be released any time soon.

So far I have Super Castlevania 4, Legend Of Zelda, LoZ: A Link to the Past, Kirby's Adventure, Super Mario World, and Alien Crush. Tomarow I plan to go get some more points and purchase Metroid, Super Metroid and Shining Force.
Same as Shmuh, I want Conker's Bad Fur Day.

There might be a glimmer of hope for other Rare games to appear. They're going to release a Viva Pinata game for the DS soon.

Also, DK64 is a Rare game, and it's on there.

Also, DK64 is a Rare game, and it's on there.
From Wikipedia: "He stated that he had "met with some Rare/Microsoft staff" while attending the 2006 Game Developers Conference, who reportedly confirmed that the Virtual Console will not see any Rare-owned licenses. The Donkey Kong games that were developed by Rare, remain unaffected since Nintendo retains the rights to the Donkey Kong series (which was Nintendo's creation to begin with)."
The he is Matt Casamassina, the Editor-in-Chief of IGN Wii. Even though Rare hasn't officially declared they won't allow their games on the Wii, except for DK, this is probably the closest we're ever going to get to a real answer.

So basically you won't be seeing Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, Blast Corps, and Conker's Bad Fur Day anytime soon.
