TRAILER LOL (http://imdb.com/title/tt0373883/trailers-screenplay-E34048-10-2)

If you haven't seen the original Halloween movie, then you must be living under a friggen rock. I loved the Halloween movie series for the most part when I was little (excluding number 3 seeing how it had nothing to do with Micheal Myers). But if you haven't seen it it's basically about a 6 year old that murdered his family aside from his little sister, and after 15 years of being institutionalized he breaks out to find his little sister. And killing people. And shit.

The remake is going to be done by Rob Zombie, and I think it looks bad fucking ass. He did a great job with House of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects, but those weren't remakes. What are your thoughts on the remake and how do you think Rob Zombie did with it?

I have never liked remakes of movies. Most of the times the directors do a horrible job and simply butcher the original. You just have to look at Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory to see that. This remake could either be amazing or suck horribly. From the trailer it looks really good, but a few minutes of awesome can still mean ninety minutes of crap. I think we'll just have to wait and see.

I haven't seen House of 100 Corpses or Devil's Rejects, but this looks pretty.. uh, OK. Standard slasher Halloween movie, though looks to be more disturbing than usual. I'm just expecting a cheese-fest.

Rob Zombie knows his sense of scary.

I can't wait to see this, I hope they don't change alot of it though. You can already see that they changed how he got out and a couple other things.

I'm expecting it to be pretty good. Probably won't touch the original, but it should be good entertainment. Rob Zombie doesn't make great movies, but he does make entertaining ones.

But with this Halloween remake and the currently in pre-production Escape from New York remake, I think every John Carpenter movie has been remade. Except Escape from L.A., which one will probably follow Escape from New York.

I give it a 10/10.

I love the classic Halloween movies. I just don't want Rob Zombie to fuck it up.
