Directed by Steven Spielberg and with a great cast, this is one film I definitely want to see. I was a big fan of the comics and TV show when I was younger and I would've almost forgotten about it's greatness if I had not heard they were making a movie. I haven't seen any of Jamie Bell's performances, but Daniel Craig, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Andy Serkis? Count me in!

Wasn't he Billy Elliot?

I'm a little skeptical about this. I'm not a huge fan of going from a cartoon comic to live action film, hopefully it'll still capture Tintin's innocent-yet-somewhat-badass nature.

Yeah he was. Personally I think he's grown into quite an awesome actor so in my opinion having him as the lead is going to be a great move for the film.

I'm a bit confused on IMDB, they have (voice) next to all of the actors, does this mean they're voicing it instead live action?

I love Tintin, but I'm not sure about going in to live action. The cast is fantastic but most live actions just fail.

Unicorn in the title is enough for me to want to go see a movie.

IMDB says:
Genre: Animation | Adventure | Family | Mystery
DUH, YOU GUYS.

I loved Tintin. I'll see it for sure.

It's going to be motion-capture, so hopefully a bit different than other crappy 3D animations around.
