I played the Demo, and became addicted. I had already put the money down for preorder, and I am glad. Picture the graphics and realism of Fight Night Round 3, only improve upon that and add in UFC instead of Boxing.

If you haven't had the pleasure of playing it, go do so now

Are the fights in this game as boring as the ones in real life? You said it had realism.

I played the previous ones and they were awful so I do want to know what's so different about this game?

I dont know what the previous two editions are like, but i've downloaded the demo for this game and i think its pretty fucking sweet. Great visuals and physics, and the gameplay is quite technical (going through the tutorial to learn how to play was a bit of a journey though).

I love the different perks and abilities that different fighters have: Wrestlers are better with takedowns and ground fighting, Muay Thai guys have more clinch options, Kickboxers are more flexible with strikes, etc. There's something for everyone.

I'll probably pick it up when it comes out.

It was alright, and be honest I didn't give it much of a chance. The controls are really hard to get used to but I could see this game becoming really fun.

Everything? The other 2 games were shit. This one has a great striking game, and the ground work is an additional plus which just makes it wicked sweet. Also, perhaps an indepth Create A Fighter! I'm really looking forward to fighter specific traits.

You've obviously never watched a good fight. And you said you played the previous games, and are then asking whats different about this?

Perhaps the dumbest thing I've ever read. The last 2 games came out early for the Xbox. Now we are late into the 360 generation and they actually put time into this game. It's like assuming a game will suck because a shitty game was made in the past.

No Fedor? What were they thinking!?!?

I did get the demo for this. It's pretty fun. Not sure if I'll fork full price for it, but it's still pretty cool.

Yeah, I liked this. Easy to play, hard to master?

If only they owned his rights. Fedor is with M1, I think. Not UFC though.

And Charlie, thats exactly the case. You can hit buttons and do good, or you can learn them and do great.

Got my hands on it yesterday. It's pretty amazing. The career mode gets pretty annoying with a bunch of boring menus and loading times.

Online mode is ridiculously fun. They have a nice ranking system and I haven't seen anybody figure out a way to abuse something to automatically win. One guy kept mounting me, but if you know what you're doing, it's not hard to reverse. The fight just didn't go anywhere.

The only downside I've found is the one hit knockouts you get thrown at you randomly when you're dominating the match. I guess that's part of UFC though.

Yeah, true. And how the fuck did you get it early?

Local game stores will normally sell games as soon as they get them in.

My bass teacher was talking about this, and he doesn't even like video games. Apparently his friend was all excited because you press one button and you're in a closed stance and then you press another and you're in open stance, and the configurations are completely different.

Sounds interesting, but I'm not going to play it.

Mash the buttons. Your takedown defense will come into serious play here.
