This was my examination for school (film school). I'm 17 and in the second-to-last year of graduation.
The assignment was "Laugh with yourself". Since alot of people say my hair looks like a birdsnest I came up with this.
Camerawork, acting, cutting, etc. were all done by myself.
I hope you enjoy it ;o

Not bad. I would have liked to see more lighting work on most of the shots, the ones with you in them, but you get leeway for no crew and maybe equipment limits. I'd expect any school based on productions to have a decent grip offering, but I doubt everyone can get those things all the time. Personally, that song brings to mind warm color tones and soft lighting, but that's my interpretation. The transition at the end was pretty good, certainly not a failure.

We have enough lightning equipment that we can use, but yeah, I can't power them in a park. I could've also changed it in Premiere, but I chose not to as I like to keep my footage as close to the original.
I see what you mean with the warm color tones, and I had been thinking about it too. But the look that I wanted to go for was the greenish tone by the river in Deliverance, and not during the duel.
Thanks for noticing the transition! Noone that I have shown it to has noticed it yet, and even though it's small, I'm quite fond of it.
Thanks for the reply
Oh and, the thing I shout at the end of the vid means "shut up" :douchecock:

I particularly like how irritated with the bird you seem, and how its chirping right in your ear hanging off your hair, more so that its keeping in tune with you than the fact is in your grill. Good cuts and angles. Nice job all around.
That's an awesome transition hahahaha. What do you say at the end tho?
I was going to say the lighting is way to green, but you have informed me that that was intentional. So. Good job.
