We had AOL for some reason i'm still unsure of, but they had this thing where you'd put in some information and they made a story based around you. I beat the Spice Girls in an epic space battle that involved me firing CDs at them.

I'd play simple, indistinguishable computer games with no graphics whatsoever, and get off on them. The nostalgia of games such as Zool, Tanktics and Silver still hit me. The old games were the best.

Doom and Wolfenstein! I beat those fucking games when I was 5.

I remember being 10 and waiting forever for Joe Cartoon and stick figure sites to load because we still had a 56k modem. It was around that time that I found SFDT, which eventually lead me to Stick Suicide, which has lead me to posting here, in this thread, right now.

I remember computers at school, since my family couldn't afford one of our own at first. It all seemed to be natural to me, as I became sort of a secondary tech guy on a close level to the official one. I recall Oregon Trail, various Munchers games and Warcraft which a friend and I installed on some of the computers when no one was looking. Later we had to uninstall those because the instructors didn't understand what was happening.

Oh, Neopets and Runescape as well.

I played my NES until I was 12, then we got an old compaq from a guy my dad was doing floors for, and shortly after got free NetZero. Porn at 6kbps was still so magical. And 6 wasn't a typo, that's the speed we were capped at.

5.25" floppy disks of Oregon Trail and Number Munchers and Word Munchers. Also some game where you drove a car and had to follow the directions someone gave you. Learning was so much fun. Later there was Where in the World/Where in Space is Carmen Sandiego. Why in the hell did we all think screen savers were so cool back then? "Wow, flying toasters!" Back in my day, we had lego and cars and barbies. We were so cool when we got our Atari and the Commodore 64. Then when I was in High School, we learnt all about the internet. It's this amazing information where you can connect to people all over the world, and search any information you want. Apparently if you're teacher asks you to search information on endangered animals, just adding .com to the isn't a good idea. Thankfully web filters didn't exist in these days.

How old is an Amstrad? I've never heard of that before.
I vaguely remember playing my big brother's Odyssey2. I guess it doesn't actually count as a computer, but it sort of does since it was programmable somehow.
This was before my elementary school put in its amazing Apple II-e computer lab.

There were two sets of games on that computer. The crappy ones in Windows which were education tools, and the awesome games mentioned which were only accessible through the DOS prompt.

Did you ever happen to run around your lounge room in red underwear making guitar noises pretending to be a member of Red Hot Chilli Peppers?

I sang a song, where you show with your fingers what you're singing. It's like: A hill, A valley, a hole, a johnny. You make a hole with your index and thumb and with the other index you go inside when singing. I did that before my mom all the time, didn't really know what's wrong with it.

The earliest back I can remember is having an old ASUS motherboard with an AGP slot. This was back when I knew little about computer components. I remember using a Geforce 4 graphics card, and it being new at the time, I think this was back in 2003.

My best computer escapade memories come from excite chat, aol chat and newgrounds. The thing is with all the new sites I browse today it's extremely difficult to remember what I've been doing since then. I remember playing America's Army as well.

Oh and Unreal tournament. And Wild Metal Country for Windows 98. Oh and who can forget all those hours wasted on runescape. The first computer game I ever played was Oregon Trail.

I played Oregen Trail whenever I had the chance to go on. Grade 3 was awesome because we got to play the newer version in class. I have both versions sitting on top of some porn I borrowed from my neighbor lady.

Also I remember playing this Mickey Mouse game, some game with a Jamaica kid, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, there was a bunch of ones my dad had. And there was a math game my dad got, some weird little gooey creature was on it and you had to do all these math equtions to get to the top of a mountain/pyramid.

I think the earliest I can remember using the computer was beating the entirety of Doom at my uncle's house with nothing but the chainsaw because I couldn't figure out how to change weapons at about 5 or 6. Played Oregon Trail an ungodly amount. Stopped fooling around on the computer until about 13 when I discovered porn, then Runescape. Now it's mostly work related that I'm on a computer.
