This is the first of a series of large art that I'm going to be producing for the in-development, post-apocalyptic, vehicular MMO, FPS dubbed Apokalypsos. I spent more time on this piece than I ever have on any other, by far.

The story in this art takes place in a run down alley of a city in Tennessee in which a neutral citizen has just defended his territory and his life from a corrupt government oppressor.

For reference, this is the original stock that was photographed by my boyfriend, in Johnson city, TN.

it came out very nice, the stream of blood looks good. nothing looks to be out of place, great work.

Make the blood more out there. It will have a cooler feeling.

Post-apocalyptic MMOFPS? I'm skeptical about the game but your art looks pretty damn cool. Is it a mix of photoshop and digital painting?

I like how it's moody and unsettling without being all stupidly cyberpunk and EDGY AS FUCK. The blood should be a little more subtle, like it's more diluted in the rain water. I also think you stuck the the stock a little to closely, some slight dilapidation in the background buildings would have been nice. As a pallette for map design and a general mood-setter for the game I think this is rather delightful.

Exetra pretty much nailed what I would have said. But yeah this is pretty damn cool.

I agree with Exetra about the blood, making it duller would've added to the overall feel of this picture. Artwork like this is gonna be a big factor when it cames to drawing people into the game though, and you've done a good job with this one.

Thanks guys. The blood was pretty tricky to work on, and at first I did have it appear to be pretty diluted in the water, but I got quite a few comments on how it sort of looked more like whispy smoke floating above the ground instead...it was pretty tricky to get it to look like it does. Also the blood is pretty fresh on the ground, as the guy literally JUST got shot, and dragged himself off screen.
