From the creators of such movies as The 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, and aparantly some of the same people worked out Anchorman and Talladega Nights.
I haven't seen it yet, but really everyone should. Seth Rogen is nothing short of a comedy genius, and the fact that its getting great even though Rogen wrote it when he was in Highschool, that just proves my point. It seems the entire Seth Rogen crew is back, people like, Jonah Hill, etc.
Any discuss. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/superbad/

It comes out, like at the 19th october. But I'm definately going to see this.
I saw Knocked Up and it was a pretty kick ass movie. Had lots of vulgarity, sex, drugs, and was funny on top of all that. I gotta go see Super Bad.

Saw it yesterday for the first showing, hilarious. I have to admit, the way Seth overuses coarse language, KINDA takes away from the funny. I mean, every second word is a curse, and it just gets old and annoying after a while. You want to wash his mouth out with soap.
Other than that, typical Apatow movie. The joke kinda gets old near the end, but they cut it off at the right time. The dick-drawing scene is an instant classic.
The chemistry between the main characters is fantastic. They're very believable as long-time best friends. The story is overall very believable, and it takes a real good director to make one as standard and cliché as this to work properly, and still be funny.

Seth using the cursing makes the character. I've been reading mixed reviews about his character, but I think he's brilliant. How could you have not known a guy like that in your entire lifetime? Imo every person in this world can relate to any of the characters in the movie.
I thought it was great, equal to that of Knocked Up, which was better than the 40-year old virgin. The police adventure with McLovin was gold, as well as the conversations with Evan and Seth. A++++++++

It was brilliant and made me want to befriend cops. Most people disagree, but I thought it was better than Knocked Up.

It was, dare I say, quite humorous?

It actually looks like it has the potential to be a really funny movie. I didn't see knocked up or 40 year old virgin, they looked totally stupid and a waste of my time, but I will definitely see this movie, I am in for some laughs from a decent comedy. Of all goes as planned, I hopefully will see it tomorrow.

Ah, i saw this yesterday. It met all my expectations and more. It's was one of the most hilarious movies I've seen in a while. I want to see Knocked Up now.
I was, sadly, a bit disappointed — possibly because I DIDN'T know kids like that. I thought Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin were a lot better.
Which isn't to say I didn't like it, but I got tired of the jokes pretty quickly (although I did take a lot of pleasure out of every time Seth got hit/fell down).
I think Seth himself was probably my big annoyance, just because he's so... every-vulgar-teen-character-ever. Kind of boring, kind of stupid, and overly stubborn in both.

Definitely funnier than Knocked Up, although that was pretty damn funny.
I cannot wait until this movie comes out on DVD. It was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. According to all of my friends, my one friend and I are those two kids, which is scary as hell.
"The funny thing about my back is its on my cock." Greatest line ever.

Yes. It is worth it. There is some disturbing shit in there though (birth scene).
Everyone was talking about it at school today. Like, people who actually have a good sense of humor. They were saying it was hilarious, so I guess I have to see it now. I would have seen it this weekend, but I had no money.

This made me laugh, because someone at school today made the exact same pun and I gave the exact same response.

I went and saw Superbad last night and I absolutely loved it! There was hardly a moment where I wasn't laughing.

I'm sorry Kwanza, but did you even go to high school? Or are you in high school right now? Because that's how it was when I went to school. That's one of the reasons I loved it so much, I loved how realistic it was. Sure there's some stuff that would never happen (like pretty much everything with the cops), but the way they act is exactly like a lot of my old friends from high school.

Yeah, after seeing The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Anchorman, and Talladega Nights, I have to see Superbad. All of those movies I saw left me laughing histerically every time, and Superbad will most likely do the same.

Maybe I hang out with the wrong crowds? Yeah, my friends swear but they don't dream of boning every good looking girl they see, or at least voice it.

Saw it yesterday, and I got to say it was pretty hilarious. The swearing was over the top, and it kind of took away from the movie, but at the same time it was realistic, because my high school's definitely like that. Overall, i'd give it a 9/10.
My friend said it was hilarious. I guess the kid from Arrested Development is going places, finally.

That kid played the part perfectly. He had just the right amount of horny teenage-ness with the added awkward when it comes to virtually anything involving other humans.
Best line in the movie; "Well you see, the thing about my cock, Jules, is that it's located on my cock."

Remember people, these guys aren't meant to be cool. Seth got spit on for Christ sake. So yes, if you haven't gotten it in that long, and only had like 1 good friend, you would voice it too.

Watched it today and I think it's right up there with some of the greats. Unfortunately I think I saw way to much of myself in the Evan character then I'd like to have.

Just got back from it about an hour ago, it was amazingly hilarious. The thing I found about it was it was very realistic to real life.. As such, there were some scenes that were slow and boring. I believe it was made up for though, as the funny scenes were VERY funny. I honestly think that the whole dick drawing scene was the funniest part, though it was definitely a toss-up. Great movie, but I also thought the bedroom scenes at the party were just a little more graphic than they needed to be..

Im probably going to be hanged for this, but it doesn't really look that great. Had trouble bringing me to a smile, but then again, most of the movies like this do. I mean, honestly, people thought 40 year old virgin and the anchor man? Just full of tacky toilet jokes and "zany" one liners. It wasn't genious, it wasn't new and original, it was tacky and lame. Nothing makes me more furious then having to hear "Milk was a bad choice" a billion f*%king times.
