I wasn't really sure what to make of this, but after watching the preview and seeing that Bridges has what seems to be a major part, this could be pretty good. It seems like they stayed somewhat true to the original in terms of design. I just hope the plot isn't weak balls and full of more holes than swiss cheese.

I just watched the trailer for the original and there's no way it's going to be better than that.

renting the original like this week.

If you've never seen the original then you are in for a treat. Sure some of it now looks dated because it was made in the 80s, but the original has its own unique style and look. It's still hard for me to believe that Disney put it out because it's kind of dark and twisted. Not to mention the actual plot is pretty good and spawned a bunch of video arcade and Atari games.

When it seems stupid to remake something, why not make a sequel? I'm glad they are doing this instead of a remake.

The original movie did leave room for a possible sequel. So I take it that Bridges has now occupied the position in the virtual world that was filled by weird orange face computer monster?

I'm excited for this movie solely because Daft Punk is doing the music. They've been making the best techno for years.

I saw the trailer for this a while back and was kind of surprised there wasn't something here. I think it's awesome. My girlfriend thinks it's awesome. So far everyone else I've spoken to on the subject had no idea what it was or why they should care. Sad.

Yeah they didn't really give away what it would actually look like. I'm hoping more color. If it's all blue I'll be pissed.

The trailer looks awesome, I'll definitely watch this, right after I watch the first one for a refresher. The light bike scene looks cool.

Keep in mind this is a proof of concept. It is probably very close to the visual style being sought, and the light cycle models are probably the same, but it's not part of the film.

Yeah, that was a VFX test, and they are fucking on the mark, even it is possible to be even better than that, I'm happy.

Saw it as a 3D trailer the other night. What's nice about it over the other 3D trailers is it didn't seem overpowering, which I feel is great.

Unlike that Dragon one, jesus.

Seems interesting. I might go see it, but it's missing the 80's graphics of the original I loved so much in the first one.
