And no I don't want any rap collaborations featuring 5 shitty rappers using autotune.

I'm talking about all the things that sound so wrong together but ended up so right.

A personal favorite of mine is Disorder by Ice T and Slayer.

In fact, the entire soundtrack to the movie Judgement Night was rap and rock collaborations by everyone from Sonic Youth and Cypress Hill to Living Colour and Run DMC.

On the other end of the spectrum we have mash ups. Two songs that someone just felt needed to be put together, such as Smells Like Billie Jean (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMhnFoq0TpE) and Come Closer Together (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM7tdWRkBp0).

Post your favorites.

Hi, it's me again.

What once was a Beefheart poem on TMR; changed into a nice song thanks to the beautiful guitarist Frank Zappa with vocals of the Great Captain himself.

Nothing not awesome about this. I never thought Antony Hegarty's voice would suit sort of disco revival music (or any dance music for that matter) but I'm glad I was proved wrong.
