Thank you God. (http://www.cbc.ca/arts/tv/story/2009/03/06/seinfeld-curb-reunion.html)

I always thought to myself this day may come, that I may have a taste of the Seinfeld cast once more. I can stop praying now.

I don't even watch this show, in fact I've never heard about it but the multiple episodes are scheduled this for this fall.

Your thoughts.

ya I already knew that

I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT.

I hope Micheal Richards say some racist shit. That will be ballin' off the wallin'.

Hell Richards was the only one not on the show so far (to my knowledge) both Louis-Dreyfus and Alexander were in one season together and Seinfeld was shown during the season where Larry David starred in the producers.

No ones ever gonna let that one go. It really wasn't that bad that it follow him the rest of his career.

I know I didn't think it was a big deal but it will still be funny.

They're playing themselves though, not the characters.

I know, he was himself when he did that racist shit.

This is pretty old news. I've never seen Curb Your Enthusiasm but maybe Ill start wathing it before they all appear on it.

And you can't say what he said wasn't that bad. I think he was trying to shock them into shutting up because when they weren't heckling they were talking loudly or something but here is a paraphrase of it:

'Niggers! Niggers! Look, a bunch of niggers everybody!'
'50 years ago we would have had you strung up by your feet?'
'Ooh the niggers are angry! That's what you get for interrupting the white man!'
And so on.

I'll watch this.

I just want the show to come back.

I mean, I've seen every Seinfeld episode several times. Most of them on their original air date because my father loved the show. I need more. 9 seasons wasn't enough.

I thought that racist stuff was the best part of his act. Playing off of it on the show would be great.

^Hahaheh, if only.

I love both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, this should be great. I hope they don't make it some brief cameo or quick joke or something, though Jerry Seinfeld's cameo was acceptable because it was hilarious and surprising.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has commitments with her other show, doesn't she?
I think based on interviews I've watched that Jason Alexander would be keen but I don't think Jerry himself would be up for it very much.
He has said they'll record a scene one day in the coffee shop right after they get out of jail.

I would definitely love Seinfeld to be back though, as long as it didn't suck.

Yeah, Larry David would have to come back too.

Larry David was gone for season 9 so he doesn't necessarily need to return

Curb your Enthusiasm is an amazing show.
I just thought I would mention it since you guys don't seem to have seen it.

When Larry David left for seasons 8 and 9 Seinfeld took over as showrunner and the show became more fast-paced and I guess "wacky" and garnered some criticism for changing. The upside, to me, was way more David Puddy in season 9 and it was still pretty strong, but not the same.

Anyway, Jerry Seinfeld saw the show was changing and decided to end it before going stale or bad without Larry David, turning down 5 million dollars an episode from NBC (which, by the way, is extremely hardcore).

So personally, I'd prefer to have him back and it seems they would. I also bet it'd get some flak if he didn't. Doesn't matter anyway, I think it's purely a dream. :'(

But I'd definitely love to see that coffee shop scene succeeding their jail time. They just better do it in the near future, because they were supposed to be in jail for a year and they're not getting any younger.

edit: Actually, how awesome would it be if the plot in Curb Your Enthusiasm was about them writing said scene? I think that'd be great and have potential for good parody.

How did everyone like the reunion and everything? I haven't seen it but I am currently making my way through Curb Your Enthusiasm, I am up to the last episode of season 2 so in a week or something I'll be up to date.

We're hardly into it. In the third episode of this season, they introduced the idea and had the cast reunite. Then after that it was mostly back to Curb with some references of the reunion in the dialogue to keep people interested. "How's the reunion coming?" "I'm wiritin' some stuff. Should be done soon." Then in a recent one Jerry Seinfeld was part of the plot, but didn't have much to do with the reunion.

In the latest episode (Black Swan), LD says "in a week will be the table read," so I assume next week we'll get into the real reunion stuff.

Oh, I see. Tv here had ads calling it Seinfeld Reunion Part 1 and 2 (with Curb Your Enthusiasm as a subtitle basically) so I figured it was in two episodes and it was done and dusted.

The latest episode was fan-fucking-tastic (and it was Seinfeld related!). One of the best of the series. I won't even say anything if you haven't seen it, just steal it online. Only one episode left...

Ya the latest episode was fucking amazing and hilarious. Although it sort of took a weird turn when larry started to call his friend's daughter's vagina a "pussy" to everyone. I mean he had the weird, disgusted look on his face when his friend called her daughter's vagina a "pussy," so I would think he wouldn't talk like that to other people. Although it did make for a great ending.

Yeah, Larry's always been kinda like a child that way, though. Like "Well so-and-so said it, why can't I say it?" I thought Jerry's face was the best when he said it in front of him.

edit: btw-

Finale? ...decent enough. I really thought it would be more "special" considering the subject matter of the entire season. Something more of an explosive finale than this. It seemed the season kind of petered out at the end, but maybe that was the point (trying to be ironic)?

I loved the "having said that.." parts, though. And the part with respecting wood was funny enough.

I mean, compared to last week's episode this was nothing.

Good finale, great to see the Seinfeld stuff, but wasn't as good as last week's awesomeness. Having said that, this ended in true Curb style, the stain being like what the show is all about.

For the last, like, three seasons LD didn't know whether to do another season or end it, each one could have been the series finale. I wouldn't mind taking this as the series finale if he doesn't want to do another, but if he does that's great too. I'm with him no matter what he decides to do with the series.

Larry playing George might have been the best part and was like some kind of super-paradox. He was playing a fictionalized version of himself playing a fictionalized version of himself within the show's universe but at the same time a fictionalized version of himself in real life and grraaaahhasbgsn,ljmdlmjk,odszgk68
