Rule 1.
"1. Do not post anything that isn't worthy of other people's time."
What the fuck is this shit with new people comming to post their crappy music?
'Crappy' meaning not 'worthy of other people's time'.
Get your shit together.

this thread has a tag that says 'music' on it, if you are not interested in anything submitted by a member that is music related dont come into the thread.
Go mindlessly flame something else.

I am interested in music people have posted if they put at least a bit of effort into it. Whereas you have clearly not done that.

here we go, this is a bit more constructive, which was the whole point of posting it up here. Tell me what makes u think there was no effort put into the songs? or have u not even listened and just flamed because u are bored?

Stop being a little bitch Dan, you've clearly just taken the fact that stitch is a new member to assume his stuff is shit. Well, it's not. Stitch, I've got to say, this is actually really good. I mean, this is pretty much the opposite of my taste in music, but I can see what you're going for, and you've nailed it pretty well. The rapping on This is Love could do with being tighter, especially towards the end of the first verse, and for some reason the whole 'this is love' singing bits didn't gel well with the rest of the tracks for me, but As I've said, this isn't my taste normally anyway, so maybe that appeals to you.
Reaping's a fucking great track. I mean, seriously mind blowing. Amatuer's also brilliant. You've got great lyrics, and a generally tight delivery and good backing samples to boot. To me it sounds like a generic sound but I don't know the scene well enough, so that may or may not be a fair comment. And even if it is, the lyrics and the message are fresh enough. All in all, well done.

I was just about to say that, Quadros. Pull your cock out of your arse, dan.
It's not my genre really, but I do go for an occaisional bit of hip-hop/trip-hop! I thought it was pretty decent. Quaddy said most of it, so I don't have much to add, but the lyrics seem very localised to southeast england in some parts. Could cause a problem if you were looking for fans outside that area? For 17 though, I think you're doing great.

I personally think the localised nature of the lyrics lends well to the sense of honesty and personality you get from listening to them. These are songs about him, and the world he lives in. Going wider would damage the close, underground feel of them, in my opinion.

I actually like this. Production sounds ace. Where'd you record? Who makes your tracks?
Very Roots Manuva meets Dizzee Rascal, but a bit better. Nice.

jiggz i record them with a pay-by-the-hour producer i found in the yellow pages lol
solongfx yea thats a good idea actually ill look into getting something on 1xtra, but nobody gets signed or even tries anymore(from what ive seen), especially hiphop/grime, because if its commercial then.... its probably garbage imho heh.

You're both right. Truth be told, I despise hip hop music in general. So, to me, its all shit.
My apologies, stitch.
I've got a question, Stitch. When you went into the studio, did you know exactly what it wanted to sound like or did you play about with it when you were at the studio? I'm kind of curious of what the studio process is like.
