So, I finally have a new laptop. It is An Acer Aspire with a 2.1 Dual Core Processor, 4gb of RAM (even though it's still only got Vista Premium, 32bit) A NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M 1GB, and a 500GB HD.
It's brilliant and I love it. However, when I turn it on, it always reverts itself back to a screen resolution of 1280x768, when the native resolution is 1366x768.
I have to change it everytime I start up. Anyone got any ideas why it's doing this?

Actually, when I ran the Arkam Asylum demo just now, it told me to do that too. Which is strange, because it had a pre-delivery inspection which was meant to do all that stuff for me, before I got it.
report back in a mo.
EDIT: ARGH, now i can't get on the fucking NVIDIA website because Flash isn't installed. I download and install it, restart firefox, and it says the same thing.

Aha, cheers man. I got Flash working, then got to the exact same page you just linked. Seems that update only came out a few days after the predelivery inspection. I just restarted, and everything seems good.

Get a new laptop, maybe it has a bug or something.
