Their new album is out for a few weeks. I, personally, like it. They pretty much changed in the past 15 years, they got softer. but still they make fucking awsome music, the lyrics are great.

What do you think?

Fuck you, faggot. I listen to a lot more than AFI. My musical opinion extends more than likely well far beyond anything you know of. I like a lot of fucking every type of music out there. But I call them like I see them, and Pearl Jam is for cocksuckers. Eddie Vedder can't sing for shit and feels the need to throw several more vowels into wouherds thahat doughon't beheeloung thehere.

I listened to the single, didn't particularly care for it. I doubt I'll bother to check out the album, since I haven't really liked much of their stuff for a while.

Well Bob Dylan is a terrible singer too, but that doesn't mean his music is shit.
If bands were based on how the singer articulates words, then Rage Against the Machine, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Cream, The Clash, Elvis Presley, and even The Beatles wouldn't exist.

My point isn't how fucking awesome my musical opinion is, otherwise I would have rattled off all the awesome shit I listen to. It's that his knowledge that I like AFI doesn't near scratch the surface of what I listen to, nor is it any sort representation, making the fact that he called into question my musical opinion based on one band extremely fucking stupid.

This is true. And yes, good song writing will usually outshine bad vocals. But Pearl Jam has never had that either. They've always just made generic grunge. Some of the stuff off Ten wasn't horrible, no. But it wasn't enough to make them great.

It's obvious that there was talent in the band, because Temple of the Dog was pretty good. They just never really did anything with it in Pearl Jam.

That's fine. I don't dislike you for liking Pearl Jam. Nor am I trying to get you to stop liking Pearl Jam. But I will continue to bash Pearl Jam. Don't take it personally. I hate them, not you.

In Allen's defence Pearl Jam suck dick at damn near everything. I saw them once. They were fully shite. And the most annoying thing is that everyone who likes Pearl Jam thinks that that gives them membership to some Hipster Fuckstick Dick Sucking Club (or the HFDSC, if you will). They're all like 'oh wow, you know about Pearl Jam too?' and then they just cut off everyone else and just talk about which of the songs they wank over the most or some shit. The worst thing was that these total knobheads actually seemed genuinely surprised that other people knew about them, WHILE THEY WERE HEADLINING FUCKING READING FESTIVAL. Also They sucked dick, Vedder spent most of the set drinking whisky and crying, and they kept saying that if people started having fun they'd stop playing. We're not danish, assholes.

So yeah, I hate Pearl Jam, and I hate anyone who likes Pearl Jam, fuck you all.

I hate Pearl Jam too, but I don't think that's a good reason to hate people who like Pearl Jam... anyway some of them are real idiots.
