Screen goes black

I uninstalled a program (mywebsearch) and restarted my computer. When it was booting up it was fine, but when my desktop was supposed to appear, there's only a black screen. I can see my cursor, but that's the only thing that appears. It works in safe mode but not in normal mode. Help?

no. i waited like 15 minutes and my desktop finally appeared. i have a feeling this will happen every time i reboot.

can you Ctrl + Alt + Del? If so:

Ctrl + Alt + Del --> File --> New Task --> explorer.exe

Should force your Windows Explorer to run right away. (Explorer is the bit that has the icons and task-bar and stuff in it)
