So I have an electronic drum kit, my parents wouldn't let me get an acoustic, and while I was playing it yesterday, my snare randomly just stopped working. Each pad has a sensor, with a wire connecting the pad to the main console that determines which sound is played (either through my amplifier, or through headphones).

All the other pads/symbols/kick pedals work, it's definitely the sensor pad of the snare drum.

Any help anyone can give me is appreciated.

If it's anything like guitar hero drums, you need to take it apart and there should be two wires going into each sensor. One of the wires is probably unconnected, just solder it back BUT NOT BEFORE TESTING IT. If you can't solder use hot glue.

You have to purchase a new sensor pad.
Go to Guitar Center and try to find a cheap one.

Electronic drum kits are a piece of shit, be a man and get a real drum set.

I am saving up for a 5000 dollar drum kit. This one cost me 400 bucks and is good for practice. My parents wouldn't let me get a acoustic because of noise.

Thanks though, I will check out guitar center, in the meantime I am using my floor tom sensor as the snare.
