Online COD:4 Problems

First the minor problem, Punkbuster won't stay on, i have to turn it on manually everytime.

Major problem, after about a minute or so, Punkbuster will then disconnect me saying there there is "No Packet Flow" I have no idea what that means. Doesn't matter what servver i'm connecting to either, and when i am connected, it's fine. My xbox doesn't do this, no noone else is using the internet, and no i don't have any viruses.

It's downloaded via steam too if thats of any relevance.

I found punkbuster to be unreliable. And plus why do you play on the pc when you can play on your xbox, its like loosing 300 pounds in fat camp and then staying there.

Try updating punkbuster manually. Just go to their site, they have a program for it.

Also check your firewall permissions for the program. No matter how many times you click 'allow' when pB starts-up, still goes boog-aloo in certain games. Therefore I solved that problem by manually making its own permission part, and have not had any problems ever since.
