This is it. It's very bare bones, but I wanted to get something basic up sooner so we can get back into the normal flow of things.

There are bound to be a LOT of bugs, missing permissions, etc. Post problems you find here. Don't complain about missing features. We're bringing them back. Just post really big mistakes, such as being able to see the admin forum. Problems of that nature.

It sucks losing 2.5 years of posts, but hey, it's a fresh start.

contrary to popular belief most explosomers don't spend 4 hours a day reading the site forums. In fact it had been a while since I last read anything explosm related, came back yesterday and saw the chaos furums running. Also the first post doesn't exacly say they were deleted by accident it just says they were lost. Most sites start deleting old posts after a while to save on web space anyway, I just found it odd they decided to do it 2 years of posts at once.

It's kind of a relief in some ways, and whats even more interesting is the fact that the site is loading faster for me than it did with the "speed improvements" or whatever that took place a while back.
