Here's a couple things I drew at school and scanned.

These were drawn during an exam when I was bored. I usually put more effort in. I think these are gonna break the table, so I linked to them.

These ones have a little bit more effort. Table breakage, sorry.

This is some art for my band:

UPDATE 1:

I drew these today at lunchtime. I hope you like them.

I know AIDS jokes are overdone, so sorry if you don't like it. I touched that last one up a bit with Photoshop, just to get rid of a few out-of-place lines and such.

So tell me what you think. If you guys like them then I'll scan some more, I've got plenty.

UPDATE 2:

So I drew some stuff today and remembered that I made this thread a while back. I thought I'd show you these pictures too!

This first one is a picture of Appleman, a superhero of my own creation who was created solely so that I could run around and shout "Harness the power... OF THE SUN!" at people.

(UPDATE 3: To please I_smell especially, I decided to make a 'proper' version of my Appleman picture, with colours and outlines, etcetera. My Photoshop skills are very limited, so sorry for not including anything cool, like flares or gradients or shit like that.)

This is a picture of me riding a flying elephant. I created it for this chick who came up with the idea.

This is a picture of me in flying gear, which is to be worn whilst flying my elephant. By the way incase it's confusing: I'm a dude.

This last one is a picture of a monkey boy with an emo haircut.

Funny as in you laugh with it, or at it?

Your drawings are very cute, I could see them on Saturday morning cartoons :D

Your characters are pretty cool. For practice, try drawing them in dynamic poses.

I say this because I used to draw characters, but got stuck with a handful of poses, and my drawing abilities never grew because of that.

The art was okay, but I was too distracted by how sad it is that you doodled stuff at school, then scanned them when you got home, uploaded them and posted them =/

Do something proper like.

What do you mean by proper like? Most of my drawing is done at school, because I don't do anything else there, and sometimes I spend a few hours on some drawings. I just wanted to share them with you guys so you could enjoy them too.

Some of the best stuff is come up with when you're supposed to be doing something else.

I liked them, man. Your cartoony style is very similar to my buddy Kyle's. I always doodle shit in class, too.

Haha, the whirlwind dragon one made me laugh out loud. The AIDS is a bit overdone, but it still got a chuckle out of me, good work.

You draw good hands.

I suck at hands.

I suck at hands.

Thankyou. It's taken me a long time to finally be able to draw hands that I'm happy with. I looked at a few webcomics to improve my hands. Even now, it takes a bit of editing in Photoshop before I like them, because I make a lot of mistakes. Mainly because I draw with pen.

If you think it'll help, you should have a look at Mike Krahulik's (Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com)) or Tim Buckley's (Ctrl+Alt+De (http://www.cad-comic.com)l) art.

I like it.

I should really start drawing again, lately I have just been drawing random things for my gentleman friend.

They are supposed to be random doodles, not really supposed to be neat and perfect.

Why are there faint drawings of random things on the metaphor page? Just wondering, they're pretty cool. Did you draw them, or were they on the paper already or something?

I liked most of them, but I recommend making the little cartoony sketches bigger. Like the one with the dragon, make the boy more visible. I could be completely wrong, though. Just something to think about.

The metaphor one and the Whirlwind Dragon one were drawn on looseleaf paper during an exam at school. The faint pictures are actually pictures that were drawn on the other side of the paper. The other drawings were drawn in a sketchpad, so you can't see through the paper.

Handy hint: I was part of the Comic Collaboration project that Showcase did ages ago, and the pictures on the back of the metaphor page are of the Comic Collaboration characters. Plus there's like, an octopus and a skeleton or some shit.

Also, I coloured and inked my Appleman picture, using Photoshop, because a few people have commented on untidiness and stuff. Enjoy.
