Crum, don't use either style, make a template which is small, about 500 wide by 200 down. Make 4 panels save that as a template, then when you need more/less panels delete/add as neccesary. Make your characters smaller! Don't have the line as wide as possible, have it on the smallest setting, then just add a simple line body no curves or triangles, just straight lines. finally give them a pixel for an eye, it should look something like Ox's, if so that's good, no-one is going to care if your art looks the same as someone elses as long as the joke is good.

More than 550 pixels breaks the table you dumb ass which is against the rules, if C&H posted their own comics in here that were more than 550 pixels they'd get infracted. Just because you left the copyright doesn't mean it's not stealing, robbing the Mona Lisa and putting it on display saying, it's my work ya know, but leaving Da Vinci's signature on there doesn't make it not stealing.

Thanks for the great comments, I'll get some more up as soon as I think or some good material :lol: That new style looks decent kamazy, I'd try and make it look a little more original but that's just me. Anyway, this is a little thing I made up for the people who are finding it difficult to make the characters in their comics express what they are saying. I made up a few different sayings and chucked together my own style plus some randoms so you can see how I would make them appear to say the lines. I always try and use hand gestures so I imagine somebody saying the line then I imagine how their hands would move and I add it to the comic. I then try and imagine how their mouth would look near the end of the sentence and try and add that to the character. I also try and think where they would be looking because not everyone keeps direct eye contact throughout a conversation. I know I'm not the best at this but it may help some people so here it is.

Another thing I try and do is make the comic without a border then add it at the end and make all the cells look in line. That way all your text wont end up squished etc. I know the other styles I used in that example are pretty crap but it was just to show that expressions can be used in all styles of comics.

You know the saying the girl is saying, right? He's so deep I can drown in him. He's parodying how its stereotypical for a farming-type dad to run off his daughter's lover if he catches them doing it, but in this case the daughter's lover is a lake, which is deep, hence the parody'd meaning of the term.
