Just to throw this in here, i think that this thread has gone down hill again. General comic standards have dropped in a big way recently. Obviously there are execpetion to that, Tylers ongoing tentacles and Innocent Schoolgirl comic is brilliant, and one ofthe main reasons i contiue to visit the thread, since i gave on making comics a few months back.

Around page 200 it peaked for the seond time since the thread started, and a return to those days would be brilliant.

There's never been a "peak." Just eras. A collective of artists that show up, post a bunch of comics that get praised for awesome, then they leave to go do something else. I was one, then I got a new drawing program and I'm less inclined to use flash, which I used to make my C&H comics from page 5 onwards.

Right now, Musical Idiot's filled that hole, while Tyler's got the "original" style comics filled.

Drawing ink. Currently I use the one from Pelikan, bit I will replace it with Winsor & Newton.
It just lookes more "alive" than with photoshop.

More important than the ink is the correct feather. I tested 20 diffrent ones until I found a good one.
But a fineliner should do it too.

I freaking love it. The art is kinda crap, but that's what makes it! The facial expressions are awesome on the cat, and the red guy in the last 2 panels.

Next time; make sure the characters consistently remain the same size throughout the whole comic, not growing and shrinking, same applies to length of arms and legs. Also, maybe smooth it out a little, and make sure the arms are connected.

But other than that, fantastic.
