Cubical, in order for panel comics to be good, it has to have an extremely clever joke. Or a joke for that matter. They're tricky to pull off, so you'd better stay away from them until you get the hang of everything ever to be able to get the hang of. Ever.

Well for one, use thicker lines that will keep them from disappearing, for two, draw better.

I haven't been on for a few days, and after sifting through these last pages I can see everyone giving Shagg a lot of shit. He really isn't THAT bad. Well then we both had the same idea because I had this series planned about a year ago, and didn't steal it, and there is no way whoever else used it could've stolen it because its been in a sketch book on a shelf since its conception... where is the other one? i'd at least like to see it.

Seriously fat jokes aren't revolutionary so I'm not surprised I just don't want to be accused of stealing when I didn't. If its older than 3/14/07 than I was second. Unfortunately I checked and only have the original version of the overdose. I remember now the other ones got confiscated by my douchebag A.P. history teacher in HS. I have the OD digital version that still has the date created listed as the date above but thats the closest I have to proof of originality.

Honestly unless it is some masterfully crafted joke that is obviously unique, I wouldn't accuse anyone of stealing. If it is something obvious like a fat guy breaking what he is trying to hang himself with, then odds are it was just so obvious that multiple people thought of it, I think I have even seen it on family guy.

I can't help it... I'm drawing with a mouse. And I can't make stick people normally, because they look bad (and you can deny it all you want but there isn't one "professional" looking piece here). Personal preferance, Better yet rougher looking art > Bad clean art... But I'll keep trying.

But seriously, "my art comes out crap" is not an excuse, even paint has line, circle, rectangle and fill tools, mine isn't the best no, but it isn't a scribble either.

Take time to do the art, as original ideas are hard to come by, you CAN copy and paste characters from frame to frame, just make new arms and legs if they move, it really isnt hard, hopefully some of you will actually take a little time next time instead of stating "I did this in five minutes" DO NOT paste five minute pieces of "art".

Anyway I have ranted long enough, let us see how long until someone posts something terrible.

As Ox has said before, they are simply glorified stick figures, if you can't draw a glorified stick figure, why are you here?

I realise that Explicit, however this forum has other threads which can help with art, not to mention, how does someone draw a mess when they could of used the preset shape tools? There is no excuse really, fair enough the first few comics will be relatively bad, but when they paste something a five year old could of done, thats just not on. :slap:

Rectangle or oval for a body, any relatively round shape for a head and sticks for arms and legs, I dont see the problem.

I'm not taking a stab at people drawing freehand, im talking about the people who say "I made this in five minutes in paint".

Although if you want to get better but dont want to spend an hour every time, make a character and save it in a picture file with no expression arms or legs on it, then you can simply copy them from this file and add the details later.

Anyway sorry Relaps ill stop ranting now and hope that people get the message. :goofy:

That's open enough. I can't make them smile or frown because they're not showing emotion when they talk. If someone was like "YOU WON'T BELEIVE WHAT I JUST SAW!!!!" then their mouth would be more of a smile.
