I don't know how many of you guys have heard it. It's the screamo version of "Crank dat soulja boy". In my opinion it's better than the original, and that' saying something because I basically only listen to rap (good rap aka cunninlynguists, Immortal Technique, eminem...etc) and pretty much hate screamo. But some reason I really like this version of it (at least until towards the 2:40 mark where the drums come in, then it turns kinda gay.)

I really hate this song and all the shit it's spawned, and this screamo version is exactly the same. The only remake type thing I've found even tolerable is the remix Travis Barker did.. Mostly because it involves him not trying to sing, and Travis Barker is a drum god.

Wow... The original song was utter shit, and whoever did this song did what are probably the worst screaming vocals I have ever heard...

Heh, I was about to post that. Travis Barker needs a new band, +44 sucks and he is so amazing.

The screamo version would be fine if they got someone who can actually scream .

Well, he's in Expensive Taste with Skinhead Rob and Paul Wall.. But I don't think a rap group counts as a new band, I don't see him playing much drums. :indiff:

I hate the rap on the radio. As I said above I listen to GOOD rap. I don't really like the original version of crank dat, but for some reason I really liked this version. More because it made me laugh than anything. Eh, I understand if you guys don't. Not many people have shared my taste in music.

Yeah, me too but it pisses me off more when some gay "rapper" hits it big and perpetuates that generalization (Soulja Boy, Lil Jon, Weezy, Jeezy..all those other fags). There are a lot of underground real rappers that are way better than some of the mainstream shit that's big right now.

Yeah, I agree. There's a lot of good underground rap, but most mainstream stuff is horrible.
