The new forum layout! OMF!

Decided to categorize things a little bit and arrange sections based on use. What do you guys think?

How so? The only new forum is this one and the dividers are very thin. I thought the previous one was cluttered because all the forums were indistinguishable at first glance.

I can't even put my finger on it really. It may just be because it's all shifted and it just feels awkward. Once it's been like this for awhile it should be comfortable again.

It seems to be in more of an order, but I think it'll be a little hard to get used to. I don't think Spam and GF should be in the same category.

The sections are pretty thick I like the old one much better. Sure it wasn't distingishable at first glance but who cares?

That was my first reaction. "Spame is a discussion forum?"

I liked how it was before, because most other forums don't do that. It's like piling everything in your fridge and then someone comes and categorizes your food. Or having your room pile of shite, then someone comes and puts everything in designated cupboards. The old layout was more inviting and easy. ISN'T THAT WHAT EXPLOSM'S ALL ABOUT?

I wasn't serious with that last part, but maybe I kind of was.

I don't like how I can directly from spame to the GF. It always used to be such a chore but now that it's easy, I find myself reading it. Seriously, that's the last thing I want.

I have to say that i do like it, you put the general and spame on top so i don't even have to try and click the other forums. All in all much better than before.

I'm surprised Explosm didn't do this earlier. This will definitely help out all those kids registering for the stories who get lost on their way to spame.

It draws attention to the fact that you've got alot of sub-forums. That's a bad thing.
