Agreed. Right now a user with 10 GF posts and 200 spame posts is "complete newb" when really he should be spame's equivalent of "somewhat regular." A while ago I noticed someone's rank was "somewhat retarded" and I think something like that could work for spame.

They don't really matter, if somebody is judging you about when you joined or your rank, it only matters if you post complete shit or not. You could be here 6 months and if every post you made was contributing, funny, not circlejerky, etc, you'd be a better poster than most of the others that joined earlier than you.

Ranks are fun because they give you a reason to stay here, and a proportion to the other variable, your join date.
