Post and discuss your gear etc. here
I play guitar for about 3 years now. I own a:
BC Rich Metal Master
http://goodvibrations.co.nz/images/METLM.jpg
This was my first electric guitar. I don't like the drawing on it so I'm thinking about recoloring it.
Jackson RX D10
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e350/de_nick/images.php.jpg
This one is new from last week. It's a really great guitar and it looks hardxcore
Further I play on a 25W BC Rich amp (was included in the starters kit), a Jimi Hendrix wah-wah, and a Boss distortion pedal (which I barely use)

I own a viola. I practiced it (started on the violin actually) since I was six.
http://www.chinamusicalinstrument.com/musical-instrument/musical-instrment-image/musical-viola.jpg
Recently I finally moved it to my college room right here! :fmita:
Violas can be electric and hardcore and stuff too, though I don't think I have enough devotion for such a purchase to be worthwhile:

I play a shitty black strat copy.
I have a multieffects pedal, wah included. I'd pick the most brutal distortion and settings I could find and just improvise on random songs I never heard of, yea, lots of fun.
I play blues, southern rock, metal, metalcore, post-hardcore, deathcore, grindcore, goregrind, death metal, you get the point. And ofcourse acoustix for the chix :heya:

I play a Johnson 5-String Bass, I'm not sure what kind of amp I have, I got it from a friend. But it's not very good. I just started earlier this year.
I also play a Yamaha 4 Valve euphonium. I've been playing that for five years.

and on a Marshall MG100HDFX/MG412 Slant Cab Half Stack

I have played bass for about 4 years and guitar for 1.

Fender Strat (Made in Mexico)
A really old Peavey Bandit 65 Watt. It's about 30 years old. It needs a new speaker and the foot switch is lost, so it's stuck in overdrive. =/

Through one of these

My Synthesizer:

and my drum machine:

I have several other guitars, basses, synthesizers, pedals, and drum machines. But what I posted are a few of my favorites.
I play a nice Larrivee six string acoustic with a LR Baggs M1 Active pickup through a LR Baggs Para DI for live shows. (lol...live shows...) peep it here. http://www.larrivee.com/flash/products/guitars/LV-03RE/lv03re.html
I also have a Gibson SG Standard in cool Natural Burst. When I need to I play that through a Vox amp.

I also have a custom P-bass and other custom not-finished guitars.

Oi! lol.
Looks like I'm the first drummer to post.
My kit is made up of a 5 pieve Verve Vibemaster, Pulse Rototoms, Attack Drum Heads, as well as a 2 ply Remo Pinstripe heads on my toms. I have a 14" Zildjian Hi hat, 14" Zildjian crash, 20" Zildjian Ride, and not pictured is my new 18" Sabian Medium Crash. Uh.. not much else... my kit also sports a kickin pearl cowbell, and a dixon double bass pedal.

I own an Encore Bass Guitar. It's cheap, but it gives a nice sound and it's quite easy to play. And my girlfriend loves it to pieces (yes, sorry ladies, you had your chance).
A picture with my bass next to her's (don't ask me what it is. I can't remember - all I know is hers is more expensive and mine is BIGGER!):

I played Cello for 6 years. I havent picked mine up for about half a year now though.
My electric guitar is a B.C. Rich Bich:
http://www.mooresmusicemporium.com/images/10325.jpg
It's great for metal (which I don't really play anymore), but it works well for just about any style, so I love it.
My acoustic guitar is an Ovation:
http://www.ocie.com/images_products/ovation_1778lx_s14286.jpg
It's an acoustic/electric actually, and I love it to death. It has one of the most amazing sounds of any acoustic I've ever played, and it's damn sexy.
My amp is a Behringer half-stack with a V-Tone Head (their V-Amps are too much money for not that great a product):
http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/shop_image/product/312ee43616e7e74a8ea093bd034a872e.jpg
So I love me.
I also use a Sennheiser E815 (my first mic), and a Shure SM57 for vocals:
http://www.caretec.at/typo3temp/pics/3426705c89.jpg
http://www.productwiki.com/upload/images/shure_sm57.jpg
And I actually own a banjo. I'm okay with it. And I play piano, but I'm not going to GIS an old Story & Clark piano picture.
OK my stuff!
My pride and joy, my Fender Jaguar barr guitar-

I didn't know it was the 50th Anniversary one until I brought it home.
I also got a Gibson Songwriter Deluxe
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/7249/p15557h74cfa200c3c46cd4qs5.jpg
and a Crybaby Wah and a Digitech Distortion Factory pedal
http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/193/29586fim7.jpg
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/892/displayod5.jpg

I've been playing guitar for about 5-6 yrs. My two babies are my:
-Epiphone Dot 335 hollow-body electric
-Maton 225 Dreadnaught Accoustic
(Actual photo)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v296/grinace/IMGP1384.jpg
I also have a Roland 30watt amp:
http://www.midimusicshop.net/Roland%20Guitar/CUBE30Big.jpeg
Also have a Skylark classical guitar, Yamaha classical guitar, Yamaha 3/4 classical guitar, a random assortment of pedals, some cheap ass piano keyboard (have been playing for 15 yrs), a basic recorder (playing 14 yrs), and can't remember the brand of my mic but I've been singing for 15 years.
I think that's it. I'll be getting a new amp, keyboard and violin when I move out and have more room. I can only kinda play violin, as in I no longer make horrible wailing sounds, but I can't do anything fancy. I don't have one to practice on at the moment, so I can't really learn anything.
I'm awesome at guitar but I'm not spoiled kthnx.

I wish I was spoiled. I had to get a job and pay for everything of mine myself, apart from my first keyboard when I was 8. My first guitar was the 3/4 classical that was a 30yr old hand-me-down from my Mum.

I've been playing guitar since I was about 6 or 7, so that's around 10 years or so. I've also been playing the piano and violin since I was 5 but I haven't even touched my violin for a very long time.
The guitar I play the most is my Taylor 210. It's my cheaper acoustic but I love it, it has the best sound I've heard out of any guitar under $1000. I also have a Fender Electracoustic JZM and a Fender Highway which I play through a Hot Rod DeVille amplifier. I don't play the electric much anymore, but I occasionally pick it up to jam with my brother.

I've got a mexican Fender Strat that I've had since I started playing about 5 years ago. I've also got an Oscar Schmidt OE30 piece of shit semi-hollow body that is in pieces since I repainted it a few months ago. I'm trying to get it back in working order, which is not going so well.
I'm currently thinking about getting an Ibanez acoustic-electric that I saw at Guitar Center. I played a few times, and it plays great. So I'll probably be getting that one sometime in the near future.
For an amp, I've got a Roland Cube 15. Yea, all I've got is a practice amp. Pretty sad.
I've got a Digitech RPX400 for a digital effects pedal. I love that thing. And then I've also got a Dunlop Crybaby wah pedal.

And:

I know what you mean. I hate kids that come along thinking they're outshining everyone with what their parents bought them. I've bought and paid for all my gear with money I worked hard for. The only thing my mom helped me with was my amp. In which she gave me a little bit of money for my birthday to go towards it (like $100 when it was a $400 set).

It cost me around $400 off eBay. I'd been looking everywhere for one for about 5 weeks and I decided to try one last look on eBay and voila! There it was. I was fucking ecstatic. It took me forever to pay my parents off for it, though. The best thing is I haven't seen anyone else with the same guitar, I feel special.

My main instrument is the drumkit, which I've played for just over 7 years. At the moment I play an electric kit, but soon I'll get around to selling it and buying an acoustic which I much prefer (and since the electric is worth more than the acoustic I'll make a profit, yay). Then like practically everyone else in the world I play the guitar, usually my Yamaha Pacifica but sometimes I get to play my dad's Fender Strat.
I also play piano, alto saxaphone and oboe.
