I don't know whether or not some new thread tags would be nice, but maybe the admins could hear us out on new thread tags.

They had to be 20 x 60 and have a light grey border.

State which forum, what they're for, and state why they should be used.

- global incidents with large death tolls

We have a forum dedicated to reviews, so I don't think a thread tag is necessary as you know it are reviews when you go there. It's way handier to know if the review is wether about a movie, a game or a cd.

I did read the thread, as I always do, I just forgot the part about the animated gifs as it was posted a week ago. I probably should've payed a bit more attention to it. I saved the tags as .png, and I suddenly remember something about them having to be .gif. Do I need to resave them?

I know whenever I've gone on forums, there have been intros, and it's a good way to get to know the people joining the forum. If their introduction is misspelled and full of "Net Speak", you'll know they're an idiot before they contribute anything in more important threads! =)

I'm pretty sure Explosm's way of welcoming newbs is by slapping them with a ban when their first post clearly indicates that they didn't read the rules. If you must introduce yourself, use the Newb tag and don't complain about the subsequent TO.

I'd like to see the Debate tag disappear from DZ. It's like having a tag that says THREAD in the general forum. Thread tags are supposed to classify topics within a forum, not remind me which forum I'm reading.

Also Media Treehouse's tag still says MW, as in Media Whorehouse.

You could just recommend it in a thread about the game/book/movie. If there's not yet a thread about it, you obviously first say what the game/book/movie is about etc. before you recommend it, so it's kinda just like all the other threads.
