I think most good PC game players have heard of this game. Its an addictive puzzle/adeventure game, in which you davance through ages and other stuff.

Its really a good game, and Ive played it when I was little, but now I want to play it but I can't find a Windows XP Version. If anyone can give one to me, site adress to buy it or something?
Also discuss about the game here, do you like it? Why or WHy not? Also game hints or whatever you like.

That game pretty much ass-raped me, but it was brilliant. Truly cool graphics.

Here it is for XP. (http://www.amazon.com/UBI-Soft-Myst-Uru-Chronicles/dp/B00023XXMC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_4/002-0436003-3559266?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1187584101&sr=8-4 )

I only played it when i was really young, and it scared me shit less. I think it was the lack of things happening that really got to me.

Is it still being said to be one of the hardest games ever made? It used to be, and my brother and I beat it in 4 days, which wasn't very hard at all. Maybe we got lucky.

I don't remember too much from it, except horrible live-action acting, and pretty imaginative level designs.

My next door neighbor was on the development team and he gave me a free copy but I never played it =/

It's a great game. It takes patience, but each successive game gets more challenging and more immersive.

I really suggest you guys attempt to beat it. It may seem dull, but it is incredibly relaxing to play. I beat the first four, still haven't got round to the fifth one yet.

I remember playing it in like... 1998, and yeah it was awesome. Especially for its time; I remember thinking the graphics were wow on a 640x480 256-colour screen and all.
And the puzzles were insane! I only managed to finish with a walkthrough.
Although, I have to say I no longer have the patience to go through any of the sequels.

Every time I see a Myst screenshot it makes me die a little on the inside. I really really loved all those games from the nineties that everyone forgets about.

I, too, would like to find where I can get an XP version of Myst for Windows XP, preferably XP compatible.

Thanks Wookierage. Now does anyone knoe where could I find like a trial version or something, like some free stuff? Or maybe somewhere I can pay to download it.
Its just that I live outside the US, so Its kinda expensive to buy something that cheap and then pay all the shipping costs and taxes. Thanks anyone...
