It is surprisingly hard to draw an egg.
also, I feel bad about not posting a comic yet. How come this tournament is so quick? :x
Because last time it took ages for us to finish because we weren't enforcing a time limit and people were taking forever on each comic.
Far could you put the deadlines in a easy to find place?

I think you're right, so long as the other contestant gets something in within the following two days then the other is disqualified.

No offense SOAD, but Emo's art is fucking fantastic I actually tried to figure out what that little spoon-thing she pulled out was, so when it actually turned into a "that's not a knife, it's a spoon" gimmick, I laughed my butt off. Cannot wait for her next entry.

Yeah. My normal drawing style is a bit different to these comics though. Kinda like this yeah (http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/pessimistic_sadist/picture11.png). You can more easily tell the anime/manga influence.

That's a little harsh. Art is 1/3 of this competition, and I am no artist so i don't pretend to be. I mean it could have been worse. My character could of had an olive for a head...

I love Emo's art but I didn't think the comics were that funny. On the other hand I thought SOAD was a genius with the Salmonella and the egg puns. Though his art looks like as if he just started using Flash for this competition.

Art is 1/3 of this competition, and I am no artist so i don't pretend to be.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't try. You put zero effort into making your comic visually appealing, and you can't expect a few corny jokes to make up for that.
That being said, I'm surprised that you're only one vote behind.

I didn't put zero effort, I put as much as was necessary, It wouldn't have looked any better if I had spent the full 2 days drawing it. That being said, I'm only 1 vote behind because some people realize that this is a COMIC competition.
I'm sorry my art didn't give you a boner Matt like emo's did, but that isn't the entirety of this contest.

You're right, it's a COMIC competition. Not just a story contest. And yes, it would've looked better if you'd spent the full 2 days drawing it. That's WHY we get two days, because it takes a long time to make a decent comic. It doesn't take any time at all to write a script for nine or ten panels.

I'd rather laugh than look at pretty pictures, especially in a comic competition. And it's not like SOAD's art was fucking unbearable, sure it wasn't that good compared to Emo's but it's not like I wanted to tear my eyes out.

Honestly dude chill out. My art was no where near eye bleeding bad. And there is a massive difference between a COMIC and a COMIC BOOK.
