Sorry NVM but according to what I see, Zebbs posted his on the 5th at 2:52pm, and it's now 4:46pm on the 7th. Thats 49 hours and 55minutes past. Now the ceiling must be scrubbed and sterilzed, you get nothing. Good day sir.
Why can't we just go on, who is it hurting having it 2(or w/e) hours late?
I learned my lesson, I'm not inactive, I don't see the problem.
Especially since there was plenty of things that slid in the past tournament and it worked out fine.

It's not really special treatment.
It's letting something slide because of an misunderstanding and when it's not really affecting anyone. It's not like the first round is really delayed because of about 3 hours.

The problem is that there is a set amount of time in place for everyone. If I let you slide two hours, why is that any better then me letting some on slide 4, 6 or 10?

I wouldn't be bitching if I was 6 or 10 hours late.
I would be more understanding.
But this seems kind of cheap that I was completely able to do the rest of the tournament on time, but I was kicked out before I had the chance to post my first comic.
It's not like I all of a sudden said YOU ONLY HAVE TWO DAYS. It's been known that that was the deadline since the start. I can't bend for you and not for anyone else.

He had 2 days to complete the comic popl8. Should've been plenty of time. If he gives him extra time, others will think "Well hey, I can do something else even though I only have 4 hours left, because I can get an extension." And because the first 2 hour extension was given, the guy 3 hours late should really also get one, then other want bigger extensions till there is no time limit :indiff:

I can't. It's not like I like kicking people out but if I don't stick to the rules then this one is going to get as fucked as the last one did.

yeah, would turn into the "well he got extra time!" and then everyone wont be hitting the deadline and we'll be worse off than losing one person because he/she couldn't adhere to the rules due to whatever reason or event that came up.
