View Full Version : What quirks do you have?
Nearly everyone has them. Odd things you do that you just can't help. Myself I can't eat in the dark. The lights need to be on or else I get uncomfortable while I'm eating. Also I'm a leg shaker. I can't sit still for whatever reason and so my leg needs to always be bouncing.
So what about you.

I need to fidget with something. Constantly. Even if I'm in the most important meeting of my life I need to be playing with a pen or something else in my hands.
I forgot that I chew on things a lot. Usually bottle caps or the little soft plastic liners inside them but really it can be anything. Candy wrappers, plastic bags, bits of paper. Oddly enough I've never been one to chew on my pens. The caps are fair game but not the pens or pencils themselves.

I fidget with anything I can get my hands on, but only when I'm on the computer (AND NO I DON'T MEAN THAT).
Also, I have a problem with chewing pens, lollipop sticks, tin foil wrappers, and other random things, not shit I find on the ground though, thats just sick.
Another one, I mutter to myself about things "Hmm, theres a random red dot on the ground there". And I randomly talk to myself when I'm alone, and respond.

i crack my knuckles when i get nervous.
and ive got this thing about rolling my eyes at nearly everything, whether it deserves an eye roll or not (which explains why everyone thinks im a sarcastic person.. or maybe its just my cynical remarks).

I have restless leg syndrome so my legs are always moving or they feel like they have bricks on them. I crack my knuckles all the time. I chew gum too much. I'm too paranoid. If some one boring is talking to me, I have this thing where my eyes drift off to the right, and it's only the right for some reason. >.>;

I'm always stroking my beard.
Also, I'm arrogant. I'm always telling people this and that as if I'm an authority on, well, everything. Most of the time I'm dead on the money, but even when I'm not I can't help it.

I don't chew stuff, but I do hold pens and things in my lips. It's probably extremely unhygienic.
My sleep patterns are pretty strange, if I get, say, 7 hours sleep and get up late, I'm fine, but if I get the same amount of sleep but have to get up early, I'm tired as hell, and usually really cold.
Also, I pretty much always use the toilet in the dark, unless it's pitch black.
I do the leg shaking thing too.

When I'm walking on a path, and i step on a crack with my foot I have to step on a crack the same size with the opposite foot. Same thing goes with the ball and tip of my feet. I have to be even, or I can't stop thinking about it. I think that's more along the lines of OCD, not just a quirk.
I bite my lip when I'm confused. I never even noticed it until someone pointed it out to me a few days ago.
I also have major issues with people putting milk and/or sugar in their tea or coffee. I can't stand it, just looking at milky coffee makes me feel ill.

Also I'm a leg shaker. I can't sit still for whatever reason and so my leg needs to always be bouncing.
Heh, I do that all the time. People always ask why I do it. I haven't the faintest idea.
I tend to twirl my pen around my fingers whenever I'm concentrating on something. So during my GCSE exams, my leg was bouncing and I was twirling a pen around my fingers. The person next to me thought I was mad.
Oh yeah, I always sit cross legged in chairs. I find it more comfortable. And if the chair isn't big enough to sit cross legged, I sit on one leg. Hard to explain really.
Another thing, but this is more of a choice, is I am always listening to music. Always. If I don't I tend to get irritated by anything.

When I'm thinking, I like to curl my johns, pinkies up. I did it ever since I got my johns, that was cool. I can't really concentrate without curling them up.
I also swirl my pencil around my fingers as fast as I can during tests and then when they drop they make loud noises that distract everyone.
Also, I laugh really hard at EVERYTHING. But when someone makes a joke and everyone laughs, I'm the one sitting, curling my johns.

Yeah I'm a leg shaker too. I'm always chewing on something... Mostly a USB cord for some reason. I tilt my head to one side when I'm confused.

I consistently groom my fingernails. Not with nail clippers or anything but if I have any speck of dirt under my nail I have it get it out. Also I push back the quick (if thats what it's called) and pick at the skin around my nail. If it weren't for all the hangnails I get for picking at my fingernail beds I would have the nicest nails. If I have something in my had like paper I crumple and twist it. I also tend to chew or suck on pens. Something weird I just realized I also have chapstick with me and right after I put it on I rub my lips together as hard as I can. If my lips are dry I chew on them.
I chew on my lips too, if they are dry. Also if I have some loose skin on them I have to peel it.

I keep finding new things like this, sometimes I can't sit without making my right leg bounce a bit, some times I put pencils in between my lips (not cheewing), some times I fiddle with my beard.
I do the beard thing the most.

When I'm sitting, my right leg shivers alot. I have an interior monologue sometimes too.
I drum my hands on a table when I'm bored. Its usually the same drumm beat of L-R-L-L thumb. I tend to sing obnoxiously when the radio is on. When someone annoys me i crack my thumbs from left to right.
I think I have a tad of Restless Leg Syndrome, and I cannot sleep in a bed, it's in a corner. I have to sleep with my back and head to a wall, otherwise, I cant sleep. I bite my cuticles/nails when nervous and when I'm talking I tend to trip over my words

I can't sit for long periods of time, I get really fidgety and need to put my feet on something high, like a desk or table in front of me. I have my feet on the desks at school all the time. When I can't put my feet on something, I have to change positions constantly.
I gnaw on my lip ring a lot, too, which has to horrible for my teeth.
Also, when I think, I tilt my head fairly far to the side, always to the left, and bob my head like I am trying to headbang very weakly. People always think I am crazy. Come to think of it, I tilt my head to the left when I do pretty my anything, especially talk to people.

I play with my hair.
I'm always chewing on something. If I don't have a pen, or gum then I'm probably eating something. Really bad habit, but, I can't help it. It's kind of like a comfort kind of thing, ya know?
Other than that my eyes are always wondering if I have free time. Especially in school. The teacher will be looking right at me and I'll be looking at the cracks in the floor, or at someone's pen cap, or something like that. Who the hell knows why.

I have to have a fan turned on in order for me to sleep, and the wind has to hit my face. I have something like restless leg syndrom, it only happends when I have the top of my foot is the only thing touching the floor. I constantly check my cell phone for the time. If I'm in a trip I have to know where I'm going, I get really pissed off if we make a diffrent place.
Just those four quirks.

I tend to chew on my headphones alot, hence I go through several of them. It sounds stupid, but I don't step on cracks in sidewalks, I just don't. I have this OCD about cleaning my glasses, and even taking other people's glasses off their faces and cleaning them if I see a smudge. Ah, and when I put on said headphones, I always make sure I put the left one on the left ear and the right one on the right...
I'm sure there's a few more I can't think of right now.

I can crack practically every joint in my body (fingers, wrists, elbows, shoulders, back, neck, knees, ankles, toes). Always makes people flinch when I do them in a series.
Also, I can't fall asleep if it's silent around me, I need background noise (like my TV or stereo going)
My car beeps if I leave the headlights on after it's turned off. I have this mortal fear that it can't beep more than three times.
I will often drop everything I am holding to turn the lights off before it reaches three beeps.
I am inherently sensitive to any kind of stimuli when I try to sleep. Ticking clocks are the worst. When I stay at someones house with a ticking clock, I find it and take out the batteries.

I'm a mumbler. If I'm walking with a friend, and I say something, he says, "What?" So I say it again, and he says, "What?" Really, it's just some insignificant stuff I'm saying, but now I'm yelling, "That tree is far away!"

I do that too on the home phone. On my mobile I wait until a pause between the vibrations.
I also pull hairs out of my eyebrows when I'm stressed. It starts with me rubbing them, then I feel a catch and I start to tug at it, the next thing I know I have a hole in my eyebrow. I do it without noticing, and its almost impossible to stop.

Leg shaking, lip biting, you name it. I go in phases though, so I might go a few months biting my lips, then I'd kick that and spend a year cracking my knuckles, and so on.
I notice random patterns sometimes, like I might silently count the number of letters in a word. No real reason behind it.

I do basically 95% of all those things mentioned above. But the 3 most common are:
-When im bored at school i grab my pencil and start passing it along my hair, sometimes even breaking the point because it cracks sometimes while passing through, this is why i have tons of refills right next to it.
-I also put my feet on the back of the person in front of me's chair and push my chair's front legs up for no reason whatsoever.
-I do this thing where if i dont have my feet on the other guy's chair i have to cross my feet one on top of the other on my chair and i sit on them to avoid moving them too much (i think i have a problem with moving my feet, like some of you mentioned)
I tend to have a rotation between those three, but in some ocassions i do most of everyting else mentioned above.

like some of yall, i tilt my head to the side when im confused. my friends laugh and call it my "dumb dog face" cuz like how dogs tilt their head sometimes when they're confused.. its kinda funny actually. i also tend to snort when i laugh, and make a complete fool out of myself when im trying to explain something. i also find myself setting my alar clock thirty minutes ahead because i know im going to hit the snooze button 52 million times. another thing is i sometimes pretend that i'm different characters from tv shows and say their lines how i would say them... oh and i never capitalize my i's.. i know im strange.. but normalness is overrated.

This is mine too. Usually what I chew on, however, is plastic water bottle caps (We have horrible sulfurous tap water, so we buy the 24 packs of water bottles all the time), and especially the little ring around the neck of the bottle. The one that the cap is usually attached to, so you have to twist it and break the connections to open it. I pry those off the bottle and chew them for hours. No clue why, but I have to. Before I did this I would suck on the neck of my shirts, but that ruins them, so I can't do that anymore.

I have this problem with silverware. I will start eating and I feel like the utensil is sticky, even though it isn't, and I will have to get another. This only happens one time per occasion (like I only have to get a new fork or whatever one time), but it happens everyday. It pisses me off so much because I will also only use certain forks, and we don't have that many of those ones.
Where to start...
1: I can't look people in the eyes, I always feel like I'm staring
2: I look at my wrist and think that a bone's out of joint, so half the time it looks like I'm trying to twist my wrist
3: My hands have to be doing something at all times - I've started carrying a pen in my hand wherever I go now so I can spin it
4: I always wake up before the alarm goes off. No matter what time I set.
5: Apparently, I have a twitch
6: I'm constantly biting and checking my nails
7: I check my watch every 5 minutes
8: I'm incredibly insecure - I always think I'm embarressing myself somehow, hence I end up planning absolutely everything - I very carefully plan what I have to say, I have real problems just talking unless it's with someone who I know really well. Makes it kinda hard to get a girlfriend, because, well, I get like this with people who I know -quite- well, including even some of my family =/

I always read people's lips when they are talking. It has brought up some awkward situations where women think I am staring at their chest but I can rarely understand someone without reading their lips. I am not hard of hearing or anything, but it has just become a quirk.
When I'm board i would drum my hands on a table or something. Also i do the leg shaking. And chew on my pen/pencil. And some other things i cant think of right now.

Whenever I'm thinking I stare blankly at something but most of the time it's someone and (I guess) it makes them feel really uncomfortable. Most of the time i don't realise I'm doing it so I end up kind of embarrassed when they point it out.

I do something kind of like that, I tend to just kind of stare off and usually end up staring at someone without really realizing it. It is also usually the same two guys, not purposely, that just happens to be the direction I stare. Then when I notice I am doing it, I always assume they have noticed it, so I have to try to cover it up by purposely staring at various things all around the room.

I fiddle with my hair and drum on things. I can't just listen to someone talk for more than ten minutes without doing something or I switch off.
I can't stand anything that's out of time. My drum teacher used to say I had a metronomic sense of timing, which makes me get so annoyed if someone is doing something like drumming on a table out of time.
It takes me ages to get to sleep because I can't stop thinking about things.
Oh and I am the most ticklish person I know. And I get violent when people tickle me.

I'm always fidgeting, fiddling with something and i will rip leaves off trees when i'm walking to/from school so i have something in my hands.
I'm also sorta OCD, everything has to be even. If i pick one finger i have to pick the other as well, if i step on a crack i have to step on one with my other foot. And i count how many steps i take on each slab of concrete. I also run my tongue along my teeth, which i have done ever since i got my braces on, and now they're off i do it twice as much.

I have a fang tooth that came down before my baby tooth came out, so it sticks out pretty far. I'm usually putting my lower lip under it so that it shows, even if I don't want it to show. I have monkey feet; I have to have something between my toes. I kind of pull on my eyelashes. I don't pull them out completely, but if I'm wearing mascara, I'll scrape most of it off by the end of 6th period. There's really no point in wearing it. I can't sleep without a TV. I can only go to sleep if Nick at Night or QVC is on my TV. If one of my friends is using Internet Explorer, I'll hound them until they get Firefox. Two nights ago I installed it for my friend because I couldn't handle watching her use IE. I'm always drumming with the sides of my thumbs in class. Usually Left, Right, Right, etc. I'm constantly trying to tuck my bangs behind my ear, even if my bangs are up. If I can, I sit criss-cross applesauce on my seat. Reading this entire thread made me realise I have more quirks than I thought I had. I get Deja Vu a lot, I'm not talking about the once a month or so deal, I get it once a day. I got it reading this thread. I often do what Tempest does with the bottles also. And it's a terrible habit, I know, but I bite my nails. Lately I've begun to stutter a little, which infuriates me to no end, because I have always been concise in the way I talk. I crack my knuckles and since I broke my wrist a few years ago I can pull my hand out of the joint and make a loud clicking noise. I also have this thing that if I'm sitting on a chair and I cant sit on at least one of my feet I will cross my legs at the ankles and tap my toes on the ground. I think I might be a little OCD as well, if I don't get all the jobs done at work I will stay behind until I've done them all, no matter how long it takes me. I also stroke my eyebrows when I'm thinking, when I catch myself doing it though, I tend to stop.

i only really have a couple of other quirks. one of them being; if i look at my phone for the time i have to do it twice because for some reason i don't take it in the first time. by the time i realise i've usually put my phone back in my pocket even though i know i'm gonna have to check twice :/
another is that when i read something i tend to filter out any noise in the background. this used to lead family members and friends to think that i was ignoring them and it used to upset my brother quite a bit.
still, at least now he knows to give me a sharp poke int he ribs.

If im walking on a tile floor, and I see a different colored tile, if i step on it, it has to be with my whole foot.
Sometimes I forget to swing my arms when I walk. Then I remember how retarded I must look walking like a robot, so I try to swing them. But I'm always scared I'm doing it wrong.
I don't walk abnormally, I just lost the habit because for a while instead of swinging my arms I fiddled with the sleeves on my sweater or had something in my hands.

I do that! I do that with walking in general. It feels someone is watching or following me so I try to make myself not look stupid. when, in fact, I'm making myself look more stupid. It's like I briefly forget how to walk like a sane human being.

When I was dishes, I'll rinse, and then scrub them with soap, and then rinse again. But, when I do this, I have to rinse off my hands first, and then the entire dish 3-5 times, to make sure there isn't any soap left. I can't handle it when soap is forgotten on dishes. This makes me take a really, really long time when doing dishes.
I play with my eyebrows when I'm on the computer. I also touch my face a lot in general, because my hands are usually cooler or warmer than my face, and it feels nice.
I also bite my nails, often. Sometimes I don't notice I'm doing it.
I knock on wood more than any normal human should.
I sleep with the lights on, too. I also can't sleep unless my head and feet are covered with blanket.
I can't think of more, but I know there's lots. :wail:
After i commit murder i have to watch an episode of Father Ted.
But seriously, i just bite my nails, and I'm getting kind of worried because i cant stop and its been going on for like 10 years now. Anybody know how to stop? I tried will power.
I sometimes bounce my leg and i have to make sure that everything on my desk is squared off and never in a weird place that doesn't match the corners or sides of the desk. Also, if anybody goes near my computer or even sits on my computer chair i freak out and immediately tell them to get off.

I have to be very minimalistic whilst clearing things up or clearing (using few paper towels, not much cleaning fluid etc.)
So after Printmaking some bint was helping me clean the ink off the tables and the dirty cow took about 10 paper towels, used them for one sweep and got another 10. I nearly broke her fucking jaw. :blanky:

Well I've diagnosed myself with a slight form of OCD. Random shit seems out of place for me and has to be straightened or arranged in some way or else it'll bug the hell out of me until I "fix" it.
Like above, stuff that doesn't seem in order or is out of place I will stand there and fix it. For example, shampoo bottles have to be arranged right next to each other in order of 1. Size then 2. Color (dark to light/clear). Inventory in games and such are a disaster lol. It even goes as far as incorrect grammar. If I use it, I HAVE to correct myself to the person I'm talking to.
I bite my nails when I'm nervous.
I can't stand it when stuff gets on my hands (I eat fried chicken with a fork as an example).
I can't eat when people I don't know well are around me.
Well there's my bit o' weirdness.

I do so many of these things, but a few I don't think people have mentioned:
Sometimes on the pavement or roads there are lines, cracks, etc every so often, marking a certain place. I have to walk an equal number of steps between each line, and if I muck it up by having one step too little/many then I start again with the new number.
Someone might have mentioned this, but I always have to be chewing something.
Whether it's my hair, pen lids, pens, anything, I have to. Sometimes I rip cotton from the hem of my clothes and chew that. I've banned myself from chewing gum because I'd be chewing about 5-10 packs a day and it made my jaw play up.
But if I don't do that, I'll be muckign about with my pen, clicking the top of it, twirling it in my fngers, etc.
If not that, I'll just draw random stuff on paper/tables/etc. Sometimes it'll just be lines, but it makes me feel like I have something to do.
I don't chew my nails anymore, but I do chew the skin around my nails instead. And if I have varnsh on them, I can never keep it on for more than a day untill I have to pick it off.
It also annoys me to use a knife. Not sharp knives or anything, but when I'm eating I just don't use the knife at all, and eat with just a fork.

I have a similar thing when i'm sat in a field, i'm always picking at grass and tearing it up, though its not particularly quirky since many people i know do that. The sweets thing is just cheeky!

My sister has had a fascination with keeping things organized (especially unused stationery.) You may want to seek a professional opinion on your 'OCD,' as it develops it becomes more and more dangerous.
My friend told me he was thought he was becoming OCD, i backhanded him and told him to stfu. If he has anything its hypochondria and that's purely because he wants quirks to make himself feel more special and unique (The Div decided he had dyslexia when I was talking about how their brains do 8000 more calculations than our own) :blanky:

I tap rhythms with my teeth.
When music is playing I tap along with it or with what ever song I have in my head.
Whenever I sit down I have to rest my elbow on my leg/table and have my hand spread across my face. It looks like I'm trying to do the fingers.
When Im walking I have to step the same amount of times on each slab of concrete.

swiming in video games scares me (and is the only thing that does in them)
This is the same with me too. It's like... fear of the unknown. FFX was the worst when doing this.
hmmm, well I bite my nails and the skin around them like crazy, I usually have one sore or bleeding finger from it.
I have this weird thing where I have to count the steps it takes to cross each concrete slab on a sidewalk, no matter how fast I am going, even if I am running. (Just runs in my head 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3 until I reach my destination)
I bite my lips, and they're always cracked/dry, occasiuonally bleeding.
I tend to bite and chew on the metal backs of my snakebites as well.
Oh, and I have this weird drumming thing I do a lot with my index and middle fingers, or right and left hand. It's always the same pattern, being 1,2,2,1,2,1,1,2,2,1,1,2,1,2,2,1 rinse and repeat.
Finally, something I only just remembered, sometimes I'll talk to myself, and have the other half of the conversation in my head, or more often I will just blurt out the last half of whatever I was thinking about at the time. People must find it strange to hear me say the last half of a sentance completely out of the blue.

When im walking through a room with tiles, I have to have a pattern, like every other tile, or every diagonal tile etc...
I have to crack at least one bone in my body every minute or so, and if ive already cracked them I keep trying to crack my neck until it finally works.
When the bell signaling next class rings, I have to count how many times it goes off.
When walking on a sidewalk i have to step on all the lines between slabs, and in the exact center.
My leg shakes alot when I'm bored, but i can usually stop that at will.
When talking to someone i dont want to talk to, i usually accidently ignore what there saying, and only vaguely note that they talked at all.
When someone tells me something i dont want to hear, i usually forget it 2 seconds after they finish saying it.
And i assign meanings to liscense plates i see while driving.

I will pull out my eyebrows at the most random times and have no idea that I am doing it.
I need to clench my jaw all the time, which really sucks because my teeth are like my pride because I get compliments on them all the time and I am destroying them. I am going to have to get a mouth guard soon.
I bob my head at the most random times, I am actually doing it right now.
I touch my face A LOT, which is kind of weird because most the girls around me/at my school are like "oh god! I can't touch my face for any reason, I will get a pimple!" and my face is usually half covered by my entire hand.
I can't wear a sweatshirt or jacket that doesn't have pockets on it. My hands are always in pockets and usually messing around with something in the pockets.
I talk with my hands like crazy (not the weird part) and when I am not making specific gestures, my hands alway pinky up, next two fingers down, pointer finger up, thumb over two down fingers. I am permanently "rocking on".

I've now picked up a bit of that restless leg thing. But that only started when I started drinking 6-8 cups of coffee in the space of time from when I got home from school til the time i went to bed (4-12). But I tend to fiddle with things everynow and then. When I have to I can put pain out of my mind. Which almost stuffed me up with running when I had shin-splints and I kept ignoring the pain. But that's not really a quirk I guess cause I made the choice to condition the mind that way.

-I have an extream hate for even numbers. I literally can't stand them. Even when I set a timer for the oven or microwave, I can't set it as an even number, it has to be odd. Sometimes I will even catch myself counting that words I type to see if there are an even number of words, and if there are, I will have to type another.
-I have to be constantly moving: shaking my leg, tapping the desk, biting my tongue, anything, I just can't sit still.
-When I'm reading there has to be music playing in the background or I get really mad. I don;t know why, I just can't stand silence.

Lol i have a few,
I always have to site on one of my legs when im in a chair, otherwise i find myself slowly slouching until i eventually fall off.
I pick skin off my lips contantly.
I have to roll my neck downwards, then from left to right every once in awhile, and I don't get satisfied until theres a CRACK.
I crack my knuckles.
I do the bouncy leg thing.
When I wear shirts, they cannot touch the front of my neck otherwise i get very uncomfortable, and im constantly pulling the front of my shirt downwards so it won't touch my neck.
Fans have to blow on my face, nowhere else on my body.

I have to, have to, have to sit with my legs crossed, even when they start aching. When they do I put them down but it's become a knee-jerk reaction for me to fold them again.
Also I eat crisps (that's potato chips to the americans in the forum) in a weird way. I eat one in little bits first, then eat one whole, then when that one is completely gone I start eating another but while chewing that start another (the number of how many I put in my mouth while doing this is completely random, usually 3-5) and lastly I put a random number of them into my mouth all at once, and then continue that order until they are all gone from the packet.
I got other little quirks but I don't wanna bore you with every single 1. LOLZ
BTW TheQuackOnCrack in England we call them sideburns too, that's another thing I always fiddle with and fold them round my ears, pull them down, roll them over, allsorts. I've got a little bit of OCD so a lot of things have to be perfect, my sideburns almost most of all.

Oh, and whenever I'm playing a board game, the pieces have to be PERFECT. In Risk or Monopoly or something, all the pieces must be upright. If we're playing Scrabble, all the tiles must be lined perfectly in their squares.
I HATE writing with pencils. It just feels gritty for some reason. And if I must use one, it has to be mechanical.
I'm a big knuckle cracker too.
If I'm wearing shorts, I'm wearing sandals. Period. I will only wear shoes if I'm wearing pants.

I suck my thumb when I'm nervous.
I hate the feeling and sound of dry paper on skin, hell I hate the feeling of paper all together.
Also, my dvd and cd collection are in the order that I bought them, I take them out one at a time and place them back neatly so when my friends come over and re-arrange them I takes me at least 30 mins putting it back together.
Candies must be eaten in pairs.
Styrofoam can not touch other styrofoam. It completely grosses me out.
All the non-marshmallow pieces of Lucky Charms must be eaten before the marshmallows. Then the marshmallows are eaten by color.
There are a lot more than this, but I'd probably really come across as a total creep. :indiff:
I mutter profanities under my breath constantly, it scares people and so helps keep the morons away. I'm also paranoid about being gang raped so I keep a veritable arsenal of weapons in my car (2 guns, an axe, 3 switchblades and a telescopic night stick) on top of the huge knife I always have upside down on my belt so people won't see it.

I drink too much tea, I'm deathly afraid of getting rape that I don't walk by myself in broad daylight. I touch my nose to my upperlip for some reason, I twirl my hair when I'm tired or bored. I bite my lip when I'm tired. When I'm put on the spot, I don't answer the question I just pass it on to another person.

Well, I don't like mirrors in the bedroom. I seriously do not have any mirrir in my room at all. I also crack my knuckles, my neck, and toes. I bite my nails and my lips. Somehow, even though my room is a complete mess, everything else has to be clean. I don't even know why. I have to shave at least every three days because I cannot stand stubble on my legs. Papers that are in a complete mess, must be put into a pile.

I crack my neck, fingers, mid-joint fingers, wrists, back, toes, and ankles. if i pop one i have to pop them all.
I have tourrets in my neck and left eye. Basically i twitch randomly. I also wiggle my ears to the beat of whatever song im thinking of. Its acually quite beautiful.

I can't walk with my arms to my side, especially if I am carrying something on my back. I either need to have them in my pocket, on the strap of my backpack, or doing something. I just feel uncomfortable. Even when I'm just walking I always find myself fiddling in my pocket or scratching the pack of my head.
Also I get constant very increased or very decreased ego, ie I can think incredibly highly of myself one hour (ranging from I got a good grade to I look good that time) to thinking I am worth nothing. It's strange and I don't like it.

I can't use the bathroom in public places unless all the taps in the room are running.

I am quite a paranoid person, naturally.
I hate the feeling of velvet, corduroy, or anything.
I hate writing with a normal pencil.
I have an uncanny fear of splinters of wood. If I have a normal pencil and some of the crappy paint-stuff that is on the surface that makes it yellow is missing, I am very ginger with the pencil.
I bite my nails.
I like to stretch my lips.
I doodle too much.
I have really violent thoughts often. Like, what if instead of just sneering at that one man who made that rude hand gesture, I approach him, snap his hand, and whip out my knife. Then, stab him a few times, run, drop the knife in a dumpster, and run home. D:

Well, when I walk into any hotel room the first thing I do is put my stuff down on the bed then go through every cubboard and draw so I know where everything is.
I eat my meals in a certain way: Meat first, potato or chips 2nd and salad last.
I like picking scabs and peeling skin off my lips.
I dislike mess but I refuse to clean.
I check the tv guide each day so i can sort out what i'm doing/watching that day.
I can't swallow many types of medicine, so I usually have to take kid flavoured ones.
I pick my nose in my sleep, apparently.
I really hate non ball point pens.
When i'm really angry at someone I half plan their death in my head.
Yeah I think thats most of them.
I never drink all of something. I will open a soda or pour juice but I only drink half of it. I can't just pour a little and drink it, it has to be a full glass and I can't finish it. I eat in even numbers and have to have the same number on each side of my mouth. And I absolutely can't stand the sound of paper peeling off a frozen popsicle. It makes me want to punch babies.

I find my many quirks to be quiet random and feverishly amusing/disturbing to me.
From a very young age I've developed the strange habit and need to, especially proceeding a shower or bath, cut my fingernails to their extreme shortness while on a daily basis running my teeth under them, since of course they've been cut far too short to bite, followed by moistening them through licking.
I cannot physically touch chalk or most forms of paper without inwardly cringing, which also goes for certain sounds [s'] and dialects, mainly to be blamed by my slight high-tone hearing loss.
In regard to textured foods such as onions, mushrooms, peppers, and so on.. while actually enjoying their taste, I do become nauseous as I find it rather discomforting to eat them.
My lips must always remain moist by means of lip gloss or lip balm.. or by my constant bitting/licking of them. I usually apply lip gloss even before sleeping.
I've found that sleeping on the wrong end of the bed, sideways, far more comfortable than the correct or normal way of sleeping.
I must always sleep with my socks and bra on or else I feel uncomfortable. My jammers [pajamas] are worn more often than my actual jeans but rarely slept in.
I dislike the sound of cracking joints as it is horrendously disturbing to me.
I like to eat freshly fallen snow, especially when made into homemade icecream.
I spend far too much time on the computer for no apparent reason other than.. I'm not actually sure really.
Even now, I still enjoy coloring, building lego houses and making playdough sculptures. It keeps the kid inside me alive. Seriously, I ate one a while ago.
Also, I tend to tilt my head whenever I am on the computer, reading or simply watching tv.. even chatting, but only to the right!
And finally, I actually do like the taste of Buckley's Cough Medicine.
There is an abundance of other quirks I possess as well that I'm sure I've failed to mention, but I sound weird enough as it is wouldn't you say?

(Only on the internet) I highlight everything I read. All my friends notice it a lot. I didn't even know I was doing it.
I also have a very loud voice because my hearing isn't too well and I hear myself at an average volume though everyone always thinks I'm shouting. So when I whisper I talk. It is extremely hard for me to keep secrets because of this.

I have a pen-clicking fetish. And I cant stop clicking it til it feels right on my fingers. Weird, I know.
And I have to look nice before I go to sleep. Like my pjs what to match, my face has to be clean, and my hair has to look good.
I also do this thing with my pinky toe. I put it over the toe next to it so it like folds over it. Thats the best way I can think to explain it haha.
Oh and I cant sleep without some kind of noise around me.

I have some weird ones too...
When I am walking with anybody, my steps need to be in sync with theirs. If they are leading with their left, I lead with my left. I actually stop walking, and sometimes skip a step, just to make sure everything is aligned.
If there is two of something (or a multiple of 2), they need to be symmetrically aligned around a center point. For example, if there are 2 cans of soda, they need to be equally distant from a cup, but on opposite sides.
^I blame those two on my OCD.^
I cannot be in a room if there is Jell-o present. I also cannot be in a store if there is an escalator. I can not watch movies or see pictures containing these two objects either.
Churches terrify me.
I cannot be home alone for extended periods of time for fear of being abandoned...
Yeah. I'm a fruitcake.
I constantly have to be moving, like my legs are always shaking no matter the position I'm in. I also bite my finger nails -_- i need to work on that. I can't read anything for more than like 10 seconds otherwise I get bored really fast, or its just because i have ADD or something.

02-23-2008, 3:29 AM
I make this really wierd noise with my tounge and my teeth and my gums. I think, i really dont know how i do it.
I'm very jittery. I have to be moving. Like bouncing my leg or moving my fingers
And I bite my finger to the point where they hurt very badly and i have to put on band- aids. But I only do it in the winter.
When im on the computer but not typing I tap my fingers on the keys so they make a clicking noise.
And I don't like it silent. It scares me.
I always have a feeling that someone is coming to kill me, esspecially at night.
I think thats all.
 I do the same thing with the keyboard!
Also, I don't like silence eithre. It doen't scare me though, I just like to have noice. So, if I'm by myself, and I can' have/don't have music, I'll tap, whistle, you name it, just to have sound.
I go to bed and stare at the ceiling fo like, an hour trying to tell myself to go to sleep. But it doesn't work, because, as I'm telling myself to go to sleep, I'm making up a song about it in my head. It's always 70's or country. go figure.
I'm always drumming with my fingers. Always. Complex patterns too.
When I type, usually I do it to the rhythm of whatever song I'm listening to at the moment (hopefully not Napalm Death which has a lot of blastbeats or Sunn0))) which has no drums at all - in that case I have to assign it a rhythm)
Because I always have a song playing in my mental jukebox I nod my head on occasion.
I'm a nail-biter.
I click my tongue on occasion.
I crack my fingers.
That's about it.

Im weird, so I have a lot.
-If someone looks at me while im eating, I immediately freeze until they look away or engage in conversation.
-A lot of ppl said leg shaking. I do that but my hands also.
-I pop both ankles a few times before I can sleep.
-When I don't understand something I blink until someone explains it to me. I didn't know that until pointed it out.
-I sleep fully clothed every night no matter how hot it is, just in case there is a fire.
-I wait three rings before I answer any phone.
-Instead of avoiding curse words, I leave a blank space in my sentence where they should be when I'm at work/school/ around small children.
-I chew on things a lot. Many people said pens, but I stopped chewing on pens when a busted one in my mouth. I stick to straws.
-If someone makes a noise I imitate it, every time without fail and also without noticing it.
-I change my voice completely when I'm talking to someone I don't know.
-I wear hoodies even when I'm hot.
-I cant sleep alone in a house/apartment/hotel room unless its light outside.
Thats about it.

I've stopped wearing jumpers, because everytime I wear them I cover my hands to the tips and hold both hands infront of my face. I can't wear shorts to school, but I'm fine with them at home. My leg twitches constantly, but thats from an old knee injury, but I have to make both my legs twitch together (My other leg is fine). I bite my lips constantly, I can't walk on the same piece of cement paths twice, so I alternate between grass and cement. I make up scenarios in my head, often leading me to research non existant arguments. I click my front two toes, do simple maths constantly (Like, if I look at a clock I add the hours and minutes together). I hug all my friends and am openly affectionate to them, but am shy around anyone else. If I see a term I don't understand I will research it until I deem myself an expert at them. I abbhor impatience, which is wierd since my siblings and mother are VERY impatient. I can sit around for hours on end with nothing but my imagination, and sometimes actively try to do so. I am embarassed easily over my past, though pay no attention to it while I'm doing it. I'm extremely jealous over alot of things, yet stay passive even when I want to be open about it. I must keep my hair over my face, because I'm uncomfortable with people looking in my eyes. I make complex plots for novels in my head and keep going over them looking for holes (I've done the same ones for 3 years now, everyday)
There's alot more, but I doubt you'll read all this so meh.

I have a habit of nibbling on my lower lip.

well:
-I bite nails
-my leg shakes whenever i feel underpressure
-if im holding something and im waiting for someone to take it, i start shaking my hand back and forth
-biting my thumb (not the nail, and not sucking, just biting on it)
-i burst out laughing at stupid things
-i cant keep eye contact if looking from accorss the room, i may smile but ill never be able to hold it for more than 2 seconds
-if im thinking/waiting, ill tense my arm to a beat, either in my head or one i can hear
-easily distracted
-i think about scenarios in my head if say i did something else from the day before
-ill always think over the day in my head when in bed
-i can never easily forget experiences, if i do something stupid, ill always think over it atleast once a day, which starts to add up time over the days
and many more
i know most of these things arent good but im fine :)

I just pick things (not my nose if thats what you were thinking...)
Things like:
The plastic in bottle lids and the label.
Labels in general
Pen lids
The plastic on the undersides of our tables at school etc.
I also swing my legs back and forth and sometimes if I'm sitting next to someone on a table they'll probably join in, swing them at the same time as me.
I play with my hair, which makes me look gay; I hate people to stare at me while Im eating; I cannot sleep without a fan on, not because of the wind, but because I developed the need for the sound of the fan on to be able to sleep(unless Im listening music..); I cant sit completely still, I either tap with my hands any simple rythm, or I move my legs, or move my jaw from one side to another quickly; I am very close to my friends, outgoing, funny and stuff but around strangers or the girl I like I enter a vegetative state; If see a word and don't understand it I go straight to wikipedia and read the whole article; I am obsessed (maybe fascinated?) with demonology, angelology, religions(even though Im a strong agnostic), and ancient cultures.

I have a habit if im talking to someone with a prominent accent, like irish, or brummie I can't help but mimic some of their words. I dont mean to, or i dont mean it in a 'piss taking' kind of way i just do it.
I click my fingers (loudly) in very quiet places, then laugh to myself - yes i know that's weird
I tend to think of something funny when im walking along on my own, smile about it, then think how weird it must look that im smiling to myself, so that makes me smile more
- i guess im just a happy person.

I can't eat cold sauce with hot food. If I was eating fries and wanted sauce with them. I'd have to put the sauce over the fries instead of dipping fries into the sauce. The difference in temperature makes me feel ill.
I used to bit my lips all the time but now that I have my lip pierced I constantly bit at it. The noise drives everyone insane but I have to be doing it.

I have weird facial twitches maybe a little like tourette's only with out the random profanities (So I only have the face twitch.) and the weird thing is if I really want to I can stop. I sometimes shake my leg. I also have this weird thinf were if I'm walking on tiles or over lines each foot must step/walk over the same amount of things or if my foot touches on side of the tile I touch the other 3 sides, again I can stop it if I really want to.

I cannot walk through two identical poles/posts no matter what. I'll actually go out of my way to avoid them, it's like avoiding walking under a ladder but a hell of a lot more inconvienient.
Also, I can't open presents in front of the people who gave them to me, it just weirds me out the way they watch you. Strangely enough it doesn't extend the other way.
Oh yeh and I'm a picker too. I'll pick leaves off bushes and trees as I walk by for no apparent reason other than shredding them up and throwing them away.

The only quirks I have are leg shaking, knuckle cracking, and talking to myself in my head.
I talk to myself out loud. When I'm alone I play out scenarios in my head that have never ,and may never happen, (like "what if my mom died?" or "what if he called me?") to the point where I'll actually laugh or cry or snap out of it. It's like having a dream but being conscious and awake. I can't watch embarrassing moments on tv, it makes me embarrassed too and I get so uncomfortable that I change the channel. When I'm walking alone I count the steps I take on each sidewalk panel and try to identify/create a pattern. I compulsively straighten my glasses and when I'm not wearing them I poke myself in the eye trying to do it. I can't flush the toilet with the door closed at night when I'm alone. I don't like to wash my face because I always think that I'll look up in the mirror and there will be someone behind me or someone will sneak up on me in the shower and I won't be able to see them. (as if that would help) I can't sleep in a dark room when I'm alone. Luckily, there are lights outside my apartment building but on some nights I get *extra* freaked out and I have lava lamps that I use for night lights.

My boyfriend has the same problem when watching something embarassing on tv. He gets annoyed if I don't change the channel for him. He's really picky about most things though, and when he thinks of something embarassing in his head, he has to swear out loud/say something strange or off topic to make him forget about it.
I also sometimes talk to myself commenting/criticizing. :)
So many times I've been talking to myself, and someone walks by and looks at me, so i walk on for a bit then say "I have GOT to stop talking to myself." But usually at that moment someone else walks within hearing distance... It's pretty annoying.

I have a couple. Whenever I list names out loud, I have to list them in alphabetical order. Say I was going to say that I went to the park with Jenny, Billy, Rick, and Steve. I'd say "Me, Billy, Jenny, Rick, and Steve went to the park". I always put myself first (narcissism?) and do it by first name, not last name. I don't think about it, either, I just do it.
Another thing is I, like Peetz, have scenarios in my head all the time. I'll even find myself mouthing words or laughing or getting upset. I never actually say things out loud, but sometimes I forget I'm around people and zone out, randomly smiling and laughing. Usually, they're positive situations that I wish would happen, but really never will. Sometimes I think about the possibilities that could arise during a future thing that IS happening, then get disappointed when they don't.
The last one is probably how I cannot wear socks that come up to my mid-calf. I just can't stand having my socks fall down or not touch my knee. Usually I don't wear gym shoes so it's not an issue, but when I'm forced to wear normal, crew-cut socks I get extremely irritated.

Yeah I eat skittles and mms, anything with many flavors one color at a time and I always save the best for last. I also have a friend who can't eat something in even amounts. Yea my eyelid will start twitching randomly too. Also I bite my nails alot.
I have to say that I like this forum, it makes me feel much less crazy.
That in mind, does anyone else ever see something dangerous and you want to know what it feels like? Like if a ceiling fan is spinning above my head I get the urge to stick my hand in it, or if I'm up on the 2nd floor looking down I want to know what it feels like to hang over the edge. I would never actually DO any of these things. I'm actually afraid of heights, I'd probably start crying if the railings weren't there. lol (oh and I did the ceiling fan thing by accident once, not recommended)
I always pull out hangnails and poke really hard at the bloody place where skin used to be. Sometimes I'll scratch my lips and get little bits of food out that I'll eat.
I sometimes think of different scenarios when I stare at certain people. I'm always mouthing a beat like humming very softly, and my temples always need scratching for some reason.
I also wear a hat a lot, and my hair gets pushed down, and it feels uncomfortable, so I'm constantly taking my hat on and off trying to get the right feeling.

I really hate odd numbers (except five). When I watch tv, the sound level HAS to be an even number or a multiple of five. If it isn't I feel uncomfortable and leave the room.
I also never download (legally) one song at a time. When I get into a band I download the whole discography (if possible). If I don't my mp3 feels incomplete.

This'll be fun. Here goes.
- If I touch something with one finger, EVERY other finger has to touch the object. This leads to painful occurences when I accidentally brush against someones arm. Simply poking people isn't socially acceptable.
- I tend to place my upper lip over my beard (ignore my avatar. I have a beard).
- Stuff has to be even. Not even 5 helps, ureshii. I hate it when I have 7 of something.
I can't eat something if it's only one. If it's something like a steak, I cut it in half. I have to have 2. Secondly: I have to chew these 2 in different cheeks.
- I monologue. When I'm alone. This goes beyond simple muttering, as to the point where I simply rant for an hour about my scheme to take over the world.
- I have 6 personalities: intelligent, funny, angry, hateful, intelligent, active. They have a name, a whole personality and a different handwriting.
- I bite my nails (quirks are quirks, no matter how dull).
- I'm a natural shoot 'em up-gamer. I don't game. I just win when I pick up a controller.

I start to laugh at jokes before the punchline is told, is that a quirk?
I also pull out little pieces of gum from the gum in my mouth and put it back.

I tend to tap my fingers a lot. I mean, a lot. But I found out that I can play any fucking song on the piano. I learned the whole song Clocks by Coldplay in 10 minutes.

I stroke the beard on my chin. I constantly bounce my leg. I ALWAYS pop by neck and knuckles. I tap my fingers. Usually to the tune of a song. Oh, and when I'm eating at the dinner table and I get bored I fidget with my fork and knife. Alot of people say "It's BAD MANNERS!!". Ah, screw 'em.

I always fidget with something. I can't help it, some part of my body always got to move, wether I'm tapping my fingers or just slightly moving my feet.
I also hate eating together with other people. Which is a bit of a problem, as I eat together with people every day. I just can't handle peoples eating habits, they disgust me. I'm a bit of a hard person to live with when it comes to that, I always yell at my family at dinner.

I refuse to pick up a phone if I don't know who's calling. Which means I don't answer any phone that doesn't have caller ID, or in a cell phone's case, if you aren't in my phone, I ain't talkin' to ya.
Whenever I say hello to someone I have to wave (other people noticed this and told me).
I can't breathe through my nose unless I don't think about it. If I TRY I can't get enough air and feel like I'm suffocating.
I'm sure there's a hundred other things I can't think of right now.

I am a fidgeter... I sometimes keep things in my pockets so that I have things to fidget with, because if I don't I'll start biting my lips.
I also don't wear shoes that tie because tying your shoes is a waste of time.

I hate socks or anything else that covers my feet. I can't sleep in a sleeping bag unless I unzip it all the way so I can stick my feet out the other end.
I think it was said somewhere on the first page, but I have this problem too.
Say I'm walking and at some point I don't pick up my right foot enough, and the top of it drags along the ground, I have to do it purposely to my left foot as well, otherwise I feel uneven. The same applies if I kick a ball or something, or even if I just do something minor like rubbing my left eye. I have to rub the right one afterwards or I just feel uneven, and I don't stop thinking about it.
I also absent-mindedly rub my tounge against the bottom of my canine teeth. I don't know why.

I hate feet. It took one year for me to even allow my boyfriend to be able to make contact with my feet. A little bit longer before I could comfortably let him touch me with his feet, and that is still super weird.
I don't walk on sewer grates. I can't do it, ever.
Is the sewer grate fear in relation to the movie 'It'? I know a lot of people who won't walk over them because of that movie.
Oh, and I can't sit on chairs unless I'm crossed legged or my feet are on the seat part as well.

No, It's from my childhood. When I was a wee girl I was so scared I would get my foot stuck in with my only hope of freedom being a bonesaw. For some reason I never got over it and now it is like a habit, more than a fear.

I crack my knuckles every 20 minutes which everyone says will lead to arthritis or something like that. I apologize constantly even if I had nothing to do with it. I hate hate HATE mens feat, it's weird since I think some girls feat are cute.
A new quirk I've developed is I play air guitar without even realizing it. I'm not like rocking out or anything I just absently play songs like Crazy Train or Sweet Child O' Mine with my fingers. I dunno why.
When I'm around girls that I like and I feel like were about to click (as in date, but most of the time I'm wrong) I tie my and untie my left shoe constantly.
This ones a bit disgusting but I've gotten into the habit of not biting my nails but biting the first layer of skin off the tips of my fingers, I can't get calluses because I keep gnawing them off.

Hmm, I don't have that many quirks, but I do have to be in step with someone if I'm walking beside them - even if it's a total stranger. Also if I'm in a bus or car I always imagine that I'm either flying right beside it or jumping along the roofs of cars on the opposite lane.It makes me feel like a superhero hee hee.

All clothes that go on in pairs have to go on right then left. Right sock then left sock, right boot then left boot, I even have to put my right contact lense in first. If I pick up the wrong one ill put it back down and grab the other one. They also go off that way, right first. Also, I have to have both socks on before I can put shoes or boots on, I cant have my right sock and boot on and my left foot be bare.

I can't touch popsicle sticks. I cant eat the bit of popsicle around popsicle sticks because it tastes like the wood. I can't even look at someone holding a popsicle stick without cringing and if someone starts licking or (goddam it) chewing on the popsicle stick, I have to leave the room.
This might sound like something I made up, but sadly its completely true.

It's not often that I eat a popsicle without chewing the stick into splinters. Do you not like the feel of wood or something?
reading this thread was really annoying because it made me think i had all these quirks and i couldn't stop fidgiting and playing with pens. It was really annoying so i only read like a page. So if I say the same thing you did, just deal.
Whenever I'm bored and sitting down i always have to crack every bone thats can crack. My back, fingers, toes, neck. I annoy people a lot by doing that. The weird thing is, I hate it when someone else cracks their fingers or something. It just makes me want to hit them.

I dig at my hairline and bite my nails a bit and I can't sit still. The first and last are from a book character froma series I quite like. I also talk a little like characters from Firefly through over immersion. And I crunch my teeth. And take my watch off and put it back on. Most annoyingly, I can't hug people. It makes me hugely uncomfortable. (not like my parents, but anyone else at all). I have been working on it and I can nearly manage to hug one friend now. :S edit: and I use smilies way too often and can't look at pictures of me too long (even as avatars etc) cos they freak me out.

I am a victim of:
-leg bobbing
-even foot distribution
-chewing popsicle sticks to a pulp
-making sure I have a subway map in some shape or form with me at all times (no joke)
-standing on the edge of the subway platform when a train comes in
-not holding onto subway poles and relying on my own balance
-smoothing down my hair with my fingers
-keeping my hands firmly glued to the inside of my pockets
-etc.
-Chronic jaw popping. Like seriously all the time. Probably every five or six seconds.
-Popping fingers in a certain order. Right thumb first, left thumb, right pinky through index, left pinky through index, and then right thumb, and the left thumb again.
-Pushing my glasses up on my face, even if they haven't slid down.
-I don't step on cracks in the sidewalk/street. And I try to avoid them as much as I can on tiled areas, but if the tiles are too small for my foot, then it's not too much of a big deal.
-I don't touch wash clothes/loofahs. I rarely touch a sponge unless I really need to use it for the dishes.
-I bite my lip all the time.
-My eating utensils all have to be perpendicular to the edge of the table, along with the serviettes.
-When two things are stacked on top of each other, one of the corners has to be aligned with each other. Or if they are round, then have to be as far to one "corner" as possible with out any over hang.
-My leg shakes all the time.
-My cell phone and pencil have to be in my right front pocket, no matter if I'm just sitting around the house.
-My window blinds have to be turned so the concave side is facing in.
-I doodle while I'm taking notes of any kind. I'll usually fill the top margin of ruled paper. It makes my notes look pretty cool.
-I could probably list these B's off all day, e'ery day, but I'll stop there.

I used to tie knots in bits of string to keep my hands busy but now they just fidget with anything I can get them on. My right eye tends to twitch often, mostly when I'm around big groups of people.
Uh, and ADD. It sucks. Especially when someone is trying to talk to me, I can't pay attention to someone for more then a minute.

I pick at each of my thumbs, and sometimes the edges of skin by my fingernails. Right now, if you hold your thumbs side by side, then turn them inward so the nails are facing each other, that area near the lines is where I pick at them. I just start like, tearing the skin off. It usually never bleeds but the area is all pink.

I chew on things a lot, always have done, especially pens and coins. Also, after telling a joke I always wrinkle my nose. I also have a twitch which can't really be called a quirk but every time I do it, I rub my nose with my thumb once. Also, I always put people lids back on their pens when I am talking to them, as soon as they put them down.

Oh, do you ever pick up your friend's pen and chew on it after placing the lid on it?

When I'm walking on a path, and i step on a crack with my foot I have to step on a crack the same size with the opposite foot. Same thing goes with the ball and tip of my feet. I have to be even, or I can't stop thinking about it. I think that's more along the lines of OCD, not just a quirk.
I get like that, if my right arm rubs against something I don't feel right until my left arms done the same. And I double/triple check everything is how I want it, which doesn't make much sense when you see how messy my room is.

When I climb a staircase, I always have to end on my left foot if it's an even-stepped staircase and right foot if it's odd. If I realize that I'm about to end on the wrong foot, then I step on the second-last step twice before continuing on.
And basically the same left-right-hand quirks previously mentioned above.

I'm a leg shaker, I tend to kneel when I sit on a chair(though I usually stop after I realize I'm doing it) I chew on random things (paper cups after I finish drinking from them, and bottlecaps) I crack my fingers a lot and sometimes my toes if I'm not wearing socks.
Whenever I go up/down stairs I go up two steps at a time, and when I'm on a sidewalk I subconciously do not step on the cracks, or subconciously step on the cracks every other step. Oh and I often move my hair out of my face, realize it looks stupid then move it back to where it originally was
