View Full Version : Your food vice

Tempest

I know everyone has them. If you are a human being, chances are you like to eat food. It's just natural. I also know that almost everyone has a "vice" when it comes to food.. AKA, some food that they almost can't live without. They could eat this food every day of every week and still not be sick of it after a month.

For me, right now (It changes every once in a while), my vice is Blazin' Buffalo and Ranch Doritos.
http://www.taquitos.net/dbimages13/Doritos-BlazinBuffRanch.jpg
Mmm. These things are like the food of the gods, I swear. Doritos are expensive as fuck, but there's almost always some sort of sale going on with them, so I can get these pretty easily. Some peoples' food vices might be a little more on the expensive side. Lets share, because sharing is caring.

At the moment for me it's Apples. Strange, I know that I'm addicted to something healthy. I have to have one each day with lunch.

Cheese, every day I get out some cheese. Like we get these big cheese things, I forget the technical name, but they're like a little random cake thing.
http://www.evansdalecheese.co.nz/newsletter/yellow.jpg
And anyway, I get home, open the fridge, get out all 4 cheeses, grab a box of crackers, a knife, and the chopping board, and sit there and slice bits of cheese off, and have them with crackers. Yum, otherwise I just grab slices of cheese and eat them.

Cheese or bacon.

I don't even need bread to enjoy either.

There's a butcher near my mother's house that has the best bacon I've ever tasted. Last year she would stop there once a week and get me a pound or two, but she stopped when she came to the horrifying realization that all my pots and pans were in her attic (I was eating the bacon raw).

The fridge in that apartment rarely had anything in it besides cheese, bacon, beer, wine and half and half (for coffee or cereal). My kitchen sucked, so I never bought anything that needed cooking. I ate out a lot.

It's worth noting that I put on about fifty pounds during this period.

Not like it used to be. Trichinosis larvae can be killed by freezing the bacon for ten days, but I never bothered. I was living on the edge at that point, I guess.

Keep in mind that this wasn't like that water-added supermarket shit bacon; this stuff had the consistency of ham, albeit with more fat.

Not trying to copy Maddox here, but beef jerky. I mean the really great ones, it has to be as dry as possible and not sweet AT ALL, it has to be salty and hot. I know it is evilly bad for health (meat+salt+preservatives), but, hell, I could eat that all day. And if you get beer with it all night too.

And hot sauce makes the crap food I'm getting from my host family eatable.

If we're gonna go the route of energy drinks, I have to have at least one Rockstar Pomegranate a week (Thought I can't really drink alot of them, I have high blood pressure and it's not good for me). If I can't get one of those, another favorite is KroniK Entourage (http://www.bevnet.com/images/reviews/Kronik/kronik_entourage.jpg), another "juiced" type of energy drink. I love these types of energy drinks, the ones with real juice, the taste is just perfect for me. Woah, crazy bro. That's a lot of coke in a day.
I can't live without coke either. But I only average like, 7-8 cans daily.

Another one of my favorites.
Cocaine Energy Drink.
This stuff is actually pretty intense compared to Red Bull.
But, I only average like, 2 cans a week since it's so bad for you, and I somewhat enjoy living.
Edit: Actually, it contains 3 and a half times as much caffiene as Red Bull. Soo.

It's being pulled nationwide really, but most people can find it around your local cornerstores that carry it. Unless you live in Australia, they don't import it.

Cadburys dairy milk. I used to eat at least one a day. I'm trying to not do that anymore though! They're just so good though!

I don't consider any food a vice. Although I probably eat way more chocolate than I should.

Lately my favorite thing, is probably the worst food someone could eat. I have this obsession with Del Taco. I get the bean&cheese burrito with red sauce, and the nacho fries, just with the "cheese" and jalepenos, and stuff as many as I can in the burrito, get extra jaleps for the rest of the fries, smother it all in the medium and del schorcho sauce and wash that shit down with a cherry coke. So amazing.

I know it's not a real food as such, but I cannot live without ketchup. I put it on everything!

Cup noodles...I eat probably 12 a week. And my best friend makes her own beef jerky, I don't like beef jerky normally but I can't get enough of that.
